Under Ten Cup First Round
Despite the extreme frosty conditions on Friday night, only a couple of under ten cup games were lost with the majority games getting played. Holders Bree United were in action at home to Ferns and bowed out in a very close and exciting encounter with Charlotte Stammers scoring the only goal of the match in the second half. Bree were trying for a four in a row and will be disappointed to be beaten so early but this match was almost worthy of being the final itself. Great credit must go to Moyne Rangers and Tombrack as well as referee Tom “Flash” Dunne who all turned up in Tombrack on Saturday morning to a frozen pitch but instead of just forgetting about the match, all parties returned to Tombrack that afternoon to get the match played. Moyne progressed comfortably eight one thanks to goals from Kasey Grant Kehoe, Faye Larkin, Anais Curran, Paige Mitchell, Leah Furlong, Rebekah Long and Sinead Morrissey while Leanne Kenny scored her first ever goal for the home side. Forth Celtic also progressed to the last sixteen with a single goal victory over Campile United thanks to a first half strike from Peig Busher. Four goals from Emily Coakley set All Blacks well on the way to their place in the next round as Amy Mulligan and Abbie Jones also found the net in a six two win over Wexford Celtic with Damisi Kotun scoring both Celtic goals. Gorey Celtic travelled to Rosslare Rangers and ran out six nil winners with Amy Wilson scoring a hat trick, Caragh Clarke with two and one from Eabha Cahill. Clodagh O Leary scored a hat trick as Ballindaggin beat St Leonards four nil with Aoife Devereux also finding the net and Curracloe proved too strong as they beat Bunclody seven one. Kyra Lacey O Connor, Sarah Siggins and Elaine O Sullivan Kenny all scored two each with Sarah Harding Kenny were all on target for the home side. Taghmon overcame Campile United second team four nil to go through to the second round while Corach Ramblers travelled to Bridge Rovers and progressed through with a three one win. Keira Reville scored two with June Rossiter also finding the net. Only early kick offs in Shelbourne and Cloughbawn saw both their games against Seaview and Kilmore respectively fall to frozen pitches

Under Ten League
Courtown Hibs travelled to Camolin Celtic and kept in contention for Division Two B honours with a comfortable win over a very young home side. Saoirse Fitzgerald scored for Celtic with Niamh Territt, Sally Whelan and Danielle Halley all on target in a six one win

Under Fourteen Cup First Round
Campile looked very impressive in this first round cup game as they overcame division two side Glen Celtic seven two. Megan Whitty and Sinead Ryan scored a hat trick each with Niamh Mernagh scoring one while Amy Banville and Dervla Doyle scoring for Celtic. Ferns were also too strong for Ballindaggin as they knocked in seven with reply thanks to a Hayley Nolan hat trick, two goals from Rita Fortune and one each from Rita Davitt and Naomi Walsh. Forth Celtic went through to the last sixteen after overcoming Bree United in a very exciting closely contested cup tie with Ciara McKelvie scoring for Bree but a Ciara Rossiter hat trick put Celtic through.

Under Fourteen League
Curracloe collected a valuable three points when winning one nil at home to St Josephs thanks to a Maeve Doyle goal, her very first goal for the club and it turned out to be a very important one. In Division Two, Moyne Rangers travelled to Taghmon and after a very competitive closely contested match, Rangers came out on top with a Chinelle Kenny scoring the only goal of the game. Seaview travelled to Fastnet Rovers and came away with the three points thanks to a Ciara Nolan hat trick and a single goal from Luise Schonmann in a four two win

Under Eighteen League
Curracloe moved second in the under eighteen league when they travelled to Seaview and won two nil thanks to goals from Rachel Moran and a Rianna Jarrett penalty

Wexford Womens Cup Second Round
The top match of the day in the cup was most definitely the all division one clash between Seaview and Tramore and it was a game that lived up to expectation. Tramore had the better of the chances in the first but could not find a way past Eimear Murphy in the Seaview goal. After a scoreless first half, Catherine Doyle put Seaview in front only for Jessica Gleeson to level shortly but the home side had the final say when Sonja Murphy curled a long range shot to the roof of the net with just two minutes remaining. Kilmore overcame Cloughbawn with relative ease and progressed to the last sixteen four nil with Becky Crosbie scoring one and Leanne O Reilly scoring three. Coolgreaney also proved too strong for division two B opposition when overwhelming Campile United eleven nil with Karen Morris and Martina Walsh scoring a hat trick each, Audrey Whitty and Jackie Kinch adding two each while Deirdre Healy scored one. Forth Celtic travelled to Kilmuckridge and progressed to the last sixteen with a three one win over St Josephs in what was another closely contested match. Louise Hammel scored for the home side but one goal from Aisling Barry and two from Ciara Rossiter put Celtic through. Curracloe were another side who had an easy win when beating Taghmon eight nil thanks to goals from Clara Donnelly, Laura Heffernan, Katie Redmond, Julie Coakley, Charlotte McCormack and Fiona Bennett while Benfica had no problems in Fastnet as they knocked in eleven without reply. Stephanie Hallahan scored four, Brianne O Connor a hat trick, Lisa Dower with two and one each from Linda Douglas and Cherelle Kessel. A Shauna Gleeson hat trick set North End on their way to a six nil win over Moyne with Martina Pender, Danielle Kehoe and Charlene Murphy also scoring.

Womens Premier Division
Ferns kept themselves in the hunt to retain the premier title when proving too strong for fellow title challengers Bunclody and running out seven three winners. A Liz Everedd hat trick, two goals from Ellen Kelly and one each from Hayley Nolan and Megan Murray gave the home side the vital three points with Jessica Martin and Celine Slye with two, the scorers for Bunclody. Killenagh eased their own relegation worries and imposed some worries on Adamstown as they ran out three nil winners with Sarah Donnelan scoring a hat trick

Womens Division One
Enniscorthy Town closed the gap on the top four when overcoming a Ferns side who battled bravely but were unable to contain the town side who ran out four one winners. Caoimhe MacPartlin scored for Ferns but goals from Aine Kirwan, Bridget McDonald, Charlene Morrissey and Kate Cullen gave Enniscorthy the points

Womens Division Two A
Shelbourne were crowned division two A champions when winning their twelfth league match in a row against fierce rivals Wexford Celtic who made the Ballywilliam girls battle all the way before eventually winning five two. Rebecca O Connor and Lisa Marie Doyle scored for Celtic while Leona Breen, Tara Kennedy and Gina Foley all scored one each and Marcella Cullen added two. League Chairman Mick Doyle was on hand to present the trophy to the victorious Shelbourne side who became the first team in recent years to wrap up a league title in January. Tombrack and Arklow had to settle for a point each as they played out a one all draw with Amy Devereux in the Arklow goal and Bridin O Rourke in the opposite goal both putting in excellent performances. Tanya McDonald put Arklow ahead but Mary Doyle levelled for Tombrack just before half time.

Womens Division Two B
Shilelagh picked up a very important three points when overcoming second place New Ross Town in what was a very closely contested encounter. Ann Carroll scored to put Town ahead but goals from Elaine Murphy, Leanne Tumelty and Edel Kennedy gave the home side all three points. Courtown Hibs kept their league ambitions alive when coming away from Castledockrell with three points after a three two win. Alma Morris and Joanne Kearns scored for the home side but goals from Laura Ramsey, Miriam Grant and Gillian Sinnott gave Hibs the victory. Rosslare Rangers were comfortable winners in their derby match at home to Strand as they ran out six nil winners thanks to two goals each from Shauna Fitzpatrick and Bobbi Doyle added to one from Aine O Connell and an own goal
