This cup tie is a definite contender for match of the season as these two near neighbours produced a nine goal thriller before a winner was declared after extra time. The sides were level two all at half time, four all after normal time before Killenagh got the vital goal in the first half of extra time to book their place in the quarter final at home to Seaview. An Aine Roche hat trick and a goal for Victoria Burke made up the home sides tally while the visitors had two goals from Isobel Naughter and one each from Tracey Byrne, Yvonne Tighe and Sarah Donnelan on target

International Player of the Year
Wexford Youths Women player Rianna Jarrett has been nominated for the Under Seventeen International player of the year and will attend the presentation this Sunday evening which will be held in RTE studios where the winner will be announced. Rianna is nominated for her exploits with the Under Seventeen squad for the 2010-11 season which failed to get out of its group in the Euro qualifiers in Belfast in November 2010. Rianna was captain of that squad and also scored in the opening match against hosts Northern Ireland but unfortunately it was not enough to see the team through. The other nominations for the award are Chloe Mustaki (Peamount United) and Clare Shine (Cork Women FC) but all in Wexford soccer wish Rianna the best of luck and congratulate her on her nomination for such a prestigious award.
