These two young sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw to grab a point each and move joint top of the table with Seaview. Katie Ryan with two and Evelyn McCormack were the goalscorers for St Leonards while Aoife Summers (2) and Keelin Byrne were on target for Shelburne

St Leonards picked up their first three points of the season when overcoming Kilmore 3-1 in Ballycullane on Saturday morning. Ella Foley was on target for Kilmore but goals from Abbie Whitty, Melissa Smith and Katie Sinnott gave the home side victory

Under Twelve Division One
Moyne Rangers           2          All Blacks       12
All Blacks are looking very impressive in this division as they made it three wins from three games when overcoming a young Moyne Rangers side. Jade Browne and Kelsey Ryan were on target for the home side while Kiera Casey (2), Aoibheann Rankin (5), Cora Sinnott, Aoife Codd, Ciara Murphy, Sophie Wallace and Aoife White were all on target for the winners

The home side made it two wins from three games in in touch with the leaders after this 7-0 win at home to Gorey Rangers

Bunclody AFC            4          Corach Ramblers         0
Goals from Aoife Farell, Sarah Kenny, Katie Moynihan and Rebecca O Connor gave Bunclody a 4-0 win over Corach Ramblers and moved the home side three points clear at the top of division one

Adamstown picked up their second win of the season when they travelled to Bree and came away 5-2 winners. Amy Doyle scored both goals for the home side while Karalina Jaglarz scored four for Adamstown with Sinead Moore also getting on the scoresheet

Taghmon United         11        Tombrack United       2
Ana Dargusin scored two goals for a young Tombrack side but they were unable to contain the firepower of the home side with Hannah Kehoe scoring an impressive seven while Caoimhe Breen scored a hat trick while Andrea O Keefe also found the net

Rosslare Strand           2          Wexford Youths         7
Wexford Youths came out on top in this clash Strand to give Youths their first win of the season. Rachel Meaney (3), Saoirse Kearney (2), Niamh Walsh and Zoe Kelly were all on target for Strand while Aisling Roche and Bonnie McMahon scored for Strand

St Josephs        2          New Ross Town          6
New Ross Town made it four wins from four games and moved clear at the top of the table as they overcame St Josephs 6-2. Two goals each from Emma Rossiter and Aoibh Thomas and one each from Ella Nolan and Leah Ryan gave Town all three points

Rosslare Rangers        8          Bridge Rovers             1
Rangers made it four wins from four games when they won comfortably against a battling Bridge Rovers side. Kayla Ryan was on target for Rovers but goals from Tegan Fortune (3), Abigail Clarke (2), Grace Noonan, Bobby Culleton and Amelia Rees gave Rosslare their fourth win of the season and retain their one hundred per cent record

Campile picked up their first win of the season when they proved too strong for Ballindaggin second string who were playing their first match of the season. Eva Fuhrman (4) and Sally Kehoe (2) scored the goals for the visitors

St Cormacs moved up to joint second in the table after this win away to Cushinstown. Kyra Nolan was on target for the home side while Emerson Doran, Jessica Foran and Bronagh Kenny all scored for the Boolavogue girls

Under Twelve Division Four
Carnew FC      0          Forth Celtic Whites     1
Forth Celtic White made the long journey to Carnew a worthwhile one when they came away 1-0 winners and keep in touch with the top two

Fastnet Rovers            0          Wexford Youths B      2
This game was much closer than the scoreline suggested but it was Youths second team who eventually took the points with a goal in each half from Jenna Kirwan. This win gave Youths their fourth win in four games while Fastnet are showing improvement in every game

The home side picked up their first three points of the season when overcoming Bridge Rovers young side 2-0 with Caitlin Gaffney and Milly Sutton scoring the goals

New Ross Town          1          Aughrim Rangers        4
Aine O Lone scored for New Ross Town second team in this game but goals from Laci Shannon, Chloe Sheehy, Ciara Connolly and Abigail Whitney gave Aughrim their fourth win of the season leaving them joint top of the table

FAI Umbro Under Sixteen Cup Second Round
Bunclody AFC            3          Cloughbawn AFC       4          (aet)
A last minute goal in extra time saw Cloughbawn eventually overcome Bunclody in the FAI Under Sixteen Cup. The home side went 2-0 ahead but Cloughbawn came back to lead 3-2 before Bunclody levelled to bring the game to extra time and seemed to be heading to penalties until the visitors late winner. Rachel Murphy, Aoife Darcy and Geri Rose O Connor were all on target for Bunclody while Emma Clarke (3) and Niamh Tormey scored for Cloughbawn in a game that showcased the high level of girls soccer in Wexford at present

Under Sixteen Premier One
Shelburne FC              2          St Leonards     8
St Leonards lead the way in Division One after they comfortably overcame Shelburne 8-2 in Ballywilliam. Ella Lyng and Niamh O Shea scored for the home side but goals from Eabha Cullen (2), Cora Hackett (2), Fiona Ryan (2), Eimear Gabbett and Aoife Cullen gave the visitors all three points

Gorey Rangers            3          Forth Celtic     5
Forth Celtic came out on top in this eight goal thriller to record their first win of the season away to Gorey Rangers late Saturday afternoon. Olive Curtis, Caoimhe Byrne and Rosie McGuckian were all on target for Rangers while Lauren McLoughlin (2), Grace Roche (2) and Louiza Donnelly all scored for Forth

New Ross Town          7          Corach Ramblers         0
Town moved to the top of the table when they made it two wins from two games in this 7-0 win over Corach Ramblers. A Jenny Canning hat trick, two goals from Amy Lawlor and a goal each from Jenny O Keefe and Eadaoin Kent gave the home side all three points

Under Sixteen Division Two B
Wexford Celtic           8          Arklow Town              2
Goals from Ruth Hendrick (2), Rachel Zsurs, Aliat Kotun (2) and Aishling O Sullivan (3) gave Wexford Celtic an 8-2 win over Arklow Town and give them their first win of the season

Camolin Celtic            1          St Josephs        0
The home side continued their good start to the season when a late goal from Grace O Halloran gave them all three points and moved Camolin top of the table. This was a close game between two very good sides and looked to be heading for a scoreless draw until Grace struck to give Celtic victory

Moyne Rangers           2          Carnew FC      5
Carnew recorded their first win of the season when they travelled to Moyne and overcame the home side 5-2. Shauna Devaney and Megan O Connor scored for Rangers but goals from Kaley Kavanagh (2), Maude Robinson Greene (2) and Bree Greene gave the Wicklow side their historic first victory

Women’s Premier Division
Seaview United          2          Adamstown FC           2
Adamstown got off to a flying start and were 2-0 up midway through the first half courtesy of two Marcella Cullen goals. Seaview were much better in the second half and goals from Meabh Kehoe and Eimear Mullan had them level but some good defending from Adamstown saw them leave Duncannon with a well earned point

Women’s Division One
Kilmore United           1          North End United       4
North End have moved clear at the top of the division after they travelled to Kilmore and came away with all three points courtesy of a 4-1 win. Cora Miller scored for the home side but a Martina Pender hat trick and a goal from Kim Walker gave North End their third win in a row

All Blacks       0          Corach Ramblers         3
Corach picked up their first win of the season in the league when they travelled to leaders All Blacks and came away 3-0 winners. Sara Byrne scored twice with Nellie Walsh also finding the net in a good overall team performance

Bree United    8          Piltown FC      0
The home side picked up their first win of the season when they totally overran Piltown, knocking in eight without reply and moving into a group of four teams who are on three points in what promises to be a very competitive division. Lauren Sinnott, Louise Butler, Coley Furlong and Justine Spratt Murphy all scored one each while Shonagh Spratt Murphy and Jenny Duggan added two apiece

Women’s Division Two A
St Leonards     2          Cloughbawn AFC       4
Cloughbawn made it three wins from three and sit top of the table after this hard fought 4-2 win away to Ballycullane. Aoife Drennan and Fiona Ryan were on target for the young home side while Hannah Keating, Gina Foley and Tina Cullen (2) scored the vital goals for the visitors in an ultra competitive encounter

New Ross Town          1          St Josephs        4
St Josephs remain in contention for the title when they travelled to New Ross Town and came away with the three points courtesy of a 4-1 win. Sinead Ryan scored a penalty for Town but two goals from Tracey McCormack and one each from Emer O Leary and Michelle Gahan gave St Josephs victory

Women’s Division Two B
Courtown Hibs            7          Wexford Bohs             0
The home side made it two wins from two games when they overcame a spirited Wexford Bohs with seven goals to spare. Two goals each from Therese Flynn and Aoife Gleeson plus goals from Donna O Brien, Lauren Ramsey and Sonia Redmond gave Hibs all three points

Seaview United “B”   3          Shelburne AFC           1
Seaview second team have found some form in recent weeks and recorded their second win of the league when overcoming Shelburne 3-1. Emer Murphy scored for the visitors but two goals from Eimear Whelan and one from Ali Staats gave the home side victory

Bunclody AFC            2          Rosslare Rangers        2
These two sides remain unbeaten after this 2-2 draw and sit first and second in the table. Rangers took the lead through Laura Doyle but Bunclody went ahead thanks to goals from Rebecca Murphy and Britney Conroy and looked to have done enough until Lauren Barry scored with two minutes to go to earn the visitors a point

Women’s Division Three
Bridge Rovers             3          Ajax Athletic              1
The home side moved up the table after they eventually overcame a dogged Ajax side to earn three points. Sophie Savage was on target for the Enniscorthy girls but two goals from Sinead Ronan and one from Deirdre Byrne gave Rovers the win

Fastnet Rovers            2          St Cormacs      0
Rovers lost their opening two games of the season but got back to winning ways when they overcame St Cormacs 2-0 in what is shaping up to be a very competitive division. Lisa Marie Doyle scored both goals for Rovers to earn them the three points

Best of Luck to Wexford Youths Women AFC
Everyone involved in Wexford women’s and schoolgirls soccer would like to wish Wexford Youths Women the best of luck in next Sunday’s FAI Women’s Cup Final against Shelbourne AFC. Match kicks off in the Aviva Stadium at 12-05 and several of our women’s teams have taken the opportunity to have the Sunday off to go support the girls.

Under Eighteen Trials

Trials will shortly be taking place for the Wexford League representative squad which will participate in the FAI Inter League Under Eighteen tournament. Details of these trials will be released in the coming days so keep an eye on www.wexfordwomenssoccer.com and the Wexford Women’s League Facebook page for further details


FAI Under Twelve National Cup

Courtown Hibs and Seaview United represented the South East Region in the FAI Under Twelve National blitz in the AUL on Saturday and although neither side came home with silverware both sides represented the league with pride. Both sides were involved in closely contested groups but failed to progress to the final stages and both eventually lost their play off games on penalties

FAI Under Twelve National Blitz
Last season’s premier champions, Courtown Hibs and cup winners, Seaview United have both qualified for the FAI National Finals after participating in the Regional qualifying blitz in Campile on Saturday. With Piltown FC representing the Waterford League, only two places from the region were available so a mini blitz took place in Campile. Seaview overcame Piltown 4-0 and then secured their place in the National finals with a 1-1 draw against Courtown. Hibs then ensured their own place in the finals with a 4-0 win over Piltown and both Wexford sides will now participate in the National finals which will take place in Dublin next Saturday

Richie Dwyer RIP
All involved in the Wexford and District Women’s and Schoolgirls League wish to convey our sympathies to the family and many friends of referee Richie Dwyer who passed away last week. Richie often helped out to referee a schoolgirls game, sometimes at very short notice, and will be sadly missed by the football family in Wexford

This end to end game produced loads of entertainment and excitement but only one goal as Seaview picked up their first three points of the season. Ruby Murphy scored the only goal of the game with just minutes remaining

Courtown Hibs          8          St Leonards    1
Title holders Courtown moved top of this seasons table when proving too strong for a brave St Leonards side and ran out 8-1 winners. Amy Whitty scored for the visitors but goals from Hannah Redmond (30, Leah Gammell (2), Katelynn Tomkins (2) and Mia Davy gave Hibs the win

Under Twelve Division One
All Blacks        5          North End United     4
These two sides will be the main challengers for this division and they served up a nine goal thriller before All Blacks eventually secured the victory. A Katie Law hat trick and a goal from Robyn Driscoll made up North End’s tally while Aoibheann Rankin (3), Eve Rowe and Ciara Murphy all scored for the home side.

Celtic joined Bunclody at the top of the table after this exciting eight goal thriller saw them take all three points. Sarah Kenny, Jenny Conroy and Rebecca O Connor scored the visitors goals while four goals from Caoimhe Kehir Murtagh and one from Aoife Kielthy gave New Ross victory

Adamstown recorded their first win of the season when they travelled to Corach Ramblers and came away 7-3 winners. Sarah Scallon and Serena Reville (2) were on target for Ramblers while Karolina Jaglarz (4) and Megan Martin (3) scored for the visitors

St Josephs moved joint top of the table when they overcame bottom club Wexford Youths by the odd goal in three. Rachel Meaney scored for the home side while Charlie Kennedy and Sarah Walsh scored the vital goals to give the visitors all three points

New Ross Town moved top of the table when they overcame a young Tombrack side 7-1. Emma Rossiter, Ella Nolan, Aoibh Thomas, Leah Ryan, Niamh Bates, Tara Roche and Sophie Quigley all scored for Town while Ania Dragusin scored for Tombrack

Bonnie McMahon scored a hat trick for Strand but it was not enough as Taghmon made it two wins from two games and stay in touch with the leaders. Hannah Kehoe (5), Becky Cashin (3) and Rachel Hussey were all on target for the winners

The home side picked up their first win of the season with this single goal victory over Cushinstown. Roisin Alouf scored the all important goal early in the second half

The home side moved into a title challenging position after this 5-0 win over Gorey Rangers to give them their second win of the season. Anna Dempsey (3) and Shannon Doyle (2) scored the all important goals to give Bridge Rovers all three points

Rosslare Rangers moved three points clear at the top of the table after this 6-0 win away to Campile United. Tegan Fortune and Bobbi Culleton scored two each while Abigail Clarke and Grace scored one each for the winners

Tombrack moved to the top of the Premier section with this win away to Shelburne, a venue that has proved a difficult one for them in recent years. Two goals each from Nadine Fortune, Rebecca Connaughton and Kelli Maguire as well as one from Nicola Ryan gave them their second win of the season. Katie Murphy (2) and Ella Lyng scored for Shelburne

The home side recorded a big win for the club as they overcame Bunclody 3-1. Two goals from Fiona Ryan and a first ever goal from Cora Hackett gave St Leonards a very important three points

The firepower of Cloughbawn proved too much for Courtown Hibs as the divisional favourites ran out comfortable winners in a fast paced games. Alex Lynch (2) and Mia Roberts were on target for Hibs while Sarah Siggins (4), Niamh McHugh (2), Emma Clarke (2) and Laura Butler all scored for the home side

An understrength Carnew side were no match for a strong St Josephs side who ran out comfortable winners and moved to the top of the table. Ella Cullen (2), Aoife Manley, Eva Cleary, Emma Cunningham and Ciara Lyons were all on target for the dominant home side.

An eleven goal thriller saw Camolin eventually overcome Moyne Rangers in an end to end fast paced encounter. Shauna Redmond (2), Siobhan Peare (2) and Meg O Connor all scored for Moyne while Emma Carton, Emma Warren, Chelsea Fortune, Grace Halloran, Megan Doyle and Megan Byrne were all on target for Camolin

Women’s Premier Division
East End United         1          Seaview United         1
The only premier game to survive the Saturday night rain saw Seaview travel to Bennetsbridge for their first league match of the season and came home with a well earned point, the first points league leaders East End have dropped this season. In a very evenly contested match, both sides produced some excellent football despite the difficult weather conditions although the pitch was in excellent condition. Maebh Kehoe gave Seaview a 1-0 lead but Laura Dooley scored in the second half to secure a point

Women’s Division One

The home side are joint top of the table after this 4-1 win over near neighbours Kilmore United. Katrina Parrock scored for the visitors but goals from Roisin Furlong (2), Eimear O Brien and Emma Sinnott gave All Blacks victory

North End made it two wins from two games when they came away from Piltown 3-0 winners. Goals from Chloe Bates, Martina Pender and Diane Leniston gave the Wexford town side a very important three points.

Moyne picked up their first win of the season when they travelled to Camolin and came away with all three points courtesy of this 3-0 win. Nicola Davitt scored one with Claudia Doyle adding two for a hard working Moyne side

An understrength New Ross Town put up a brave battle before eventually going down to a strong St Leonards side who move three points clear at the top of the table after this victory. Sandra Murphy scored both goals for Town but goals from Niamh Browne (2), Eimear Gabbett (2), Fiona Ryan and Chloe Banville gave a youthful home side all three points

Bunclody made it two wins from two when they overcame a young Seaview side with six goals to spare. Britney Conroy continued her good scoring form with two while Alma Morris also scored two while Hayley Browne and Alex Weippert added a goal each

One of the pre-season favourites, Fastnet Rovers, have started the season poorly and have lost both their opening games. Lorraine Breen was on target for Rovers in this match but Stoney continued their good start to the season with goals from Karen Rochford and Chloe Foxe

The home side made it two wins from two games with this win over previously unbeaten Cushinstown. Lorraine Fortune (2) and Vivian Gahan were on target for St Cormacs, a win that gives them a vital three points

Ballindaggin made it two wins from two games when they travelled to Kilmuckridge and came out on top in a five goal thriller. Twins Leah Roban (2) and Emily Roban scored the all important goals for the visitors to move them clear at the top of the table

Bridge Rovers            0          New Ross Town        2
New Ross Town opened their under ten campaign with a win when they came away from Bridge Rovers 2-0 winners. Abi Rossiter and Ava O Leary scored the vital goals in an end to end match

Under Ten North
Bunclody AFC            6          Carnew FC     2
Tara Doran and Karen O Brien were both on target for Carnew but it was not enough against a very clinical Bunclody side. Goals from Mia Dunne (3), Lauren Jordan (2) and Leah Kavanagh gave the home side the three points

Tombrack United      4          Courtown Hibs          2
These two young sides played out a very exciting match before Tombrack eventually came out on top with three second half goals. Izzy Kenna scored both goals for Hibs while Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave scored a hat trick for the home side with Kate Tomkins also finding the net

Ferns made it two wins from two games when they travelled to Aughrim and came away 4-2 winners. Poppy Jordan and Aine Darcy were on target for Rangers but goals from Katie Fortune (3) and Ellis Katie Lancin gave the visitors victory

Bree bounced back from their opening day defeat when they travelled to Moyne Rangers and came away 3-0 winners. Lucy Revellie (2) and Ella Doyle were on target for the visitors

All Blacks picked up their second win of the season when they came out 5-1 winners in this local derby. Holly Doyle scored for Kilmore but goals from Naomi Denton (3) and Ciara Murphy (2) gave the home side all three points

Both these sides will expect to be challenging for honours at the end of the season but had to settle for a point each in this 2-2 draw

Forth opened their season with a win when they entertained All Blacks and came out on top 3-0. A Grace Roche hat trick gave the home side a well earned victory against a very determined All Blacks side

St Leonards travelled to Ballywilliam and came away 5-2 winners after a very solid performance. Katie Murphy scored both goals for Shelburne while Jenna Molloy (2), Annmarie Roche, Eabha Cullen and Aoife Cullen were on target for St Leonards

Moyne kicked off their season with a 2-1 win away to St Josephs after a very entertaining and hard fought encounter between two good young sides. Shanise O Reilly and Kerri Burt scored the goals for Moyne.

Gorey Rangers overcame Wexford Youths in a six goal thriller in Ferrycarrig on Saturday with Siun Murdiff (2), Olive Curtis and Ciara Wilkinson all on target for Rangers while Alanah Lambert and Rachel Meaney scored for Youths

North End United     5          Tombrack United      2
Katie Law is off to a flying start this season and scored four goals as North End overcame Tombrack 5-2. Chelsey King also scored for the home side while Shauna McGovern and Kate Butler were on target for Tombrack

Corach Ramblers      1          Seaview United         3
Two goals from Ciaradh Connolly and one from Jamie Walsh gave Seaview a 3-1 win away to Corach Ramblers. The home side did pull one back through Grace Donovan but it was not enough as Seaview ran out comfortable winners

This was probably one of the longest away trips in the history of the league as Rosslare Strand travelled all the way to Aughrim and it was the home side who came out on top. Eilis Devitt scored a hat trick to add to goals from Shauna Rochford, Mia Battersby and Anna Lawlor gave Aughrim a 6-0 win

A young Adamstown side proved far too strong for Bree and ran out comfortable 10-0 winners. Goals from Laura Banville (4), Karlina Jaglasz (3), Chloe Doyle, Ellen Duggan and Ashling O Dowd saw the home side achieve a comfortable victory

Arklow made the long journey to New Ross a worthwhile one as they came out 8-3 victors in an exciting end to end match

The new formatted Under Eighteen Seven a Side league got off to an interesting start with mixed reaction from the clubs involved. This game proved to be one of the best as both sides played out an exciting 2-2 draw. Caitlin Murphy and Jade Gannon were on target for the visitors while Abbie Molloy scored both goals for Gorey

A physically stronger Bree side proved too tough for a young Tombrack side and ran out 2-0 wnners with a goal in each half. Louise Butler and Amy Long were both on target for the winners

A very closely contested encounter saw St Leonards eventually came on top by a single goal scored by Eimear Gabbett. Both sides created chances and adapted to the new format quickly but it was the home side who eventually secured the three points

Both these sides have qualified for the quarter finals of the Shield but it is Seaview who will top the group after this 2-1 win over Adamstown. Catherine Doyle scored both goals for the home side while Nikki Dunphy was on target for the visitors

Camolin have qualified for the knockout stage of the Divisional Shield after they overcame St Cormacs to finish second in the group behind Courtown. Goals from Niamh O Leary and Rachel Kearney saw the home side achieve the win they needed

Tina Colloton is making a major impact as she scored a hat trick for All Blacks to move them to the top of the division after a hard earned win over Bree United. Mary O Gorman and Lauren Sinnott were on target for the home side who will feel a little unlucky not to have got at least a point from this game

St Leonards are sitting joint top of the table after this win away to a Moyne side who have all the talent but are finding it difficult to kick start their season. Nicola Davitt scored for Rangers but goals from Alex Holden, Ciara Ryan and Fiona Ryan gave the visitors all three points continuing their good start to the season. All involved in this game would like to wish Moyne keeper Ciara Morrissey a speedy recovery after a head injury saw her having to leave the field

The home side are also flying this season and although this game started very tight, St Josephs soon took control and ran out comfortable 8-1 winners. Michelle Gahan (4), Pamela Walshe (2), Emer O Leary and Sarah Walshe were all on target for the winners

This game was much closer than the scoreline might suggest but Rangers eventually got control of the match and ran out 3-0 winners. Lauren Barry was the heroine for the home side, scoring a hat trick with one goal in the first half and two in the second to move her side top of the table

Bridge Rovers picked up an important three points as they travelled to Ajax Athletic and came away 5-0 winners. Holly Johnson scored one while Sinead Ronan scored an impressive tally of four to give Rovers victory

This game seemed to be heading for a scoreless draw between two very hard working sides until Sarah Merrigan put Tombrack ahead on 90th minute but Chloe Foxe levelled thirty seconds later. Both sides were disappointed they didn’t win the game but both probably were content with a point in the end

Cushinstown are off to a flying start in the league and are currently top of division three after this win over Fastnet Rovers. Amie Gaffney and Helen Power were both on target for the visitors while Geraldine Monaghan scored for Rovers
