FAI Under Twelve National
Blitz
Last season’s premier
champions, Courtown Hibs and cup winners, Seaview United have both qualified
for the FAI National Finals after participating in the Regional qualifying
blitz in Campile on Saturday. With Piltown FC representing the Waterford
League, only two places from the region were available so a mini blitz took
place in Campile. Seaview overcame Piltown 4-0 and then secured their place in
the National finals with a 1-1 draw against Courtown. Hibs then ensured their
own place in the finals with a 4-0 win over Piltown and both Wexford sides will
now participate in the National finals which will take place in Dublin next
Saturday
Richie Dwyer RIP
All involved in the Wexford
and District Women’s and Schoolgirls League wish to convey our sympathies to
the family and many friends of referee Richie Dwyer who passed away last week.
Richie often helped out to referee a schoolgirls game, sometimes at very short
notice, and will be sadly missed by the football family in Wexford
