Under Sixteen Premier Division

Curracloe moved back joint top of the premier division when overcoming St Josephs on Monday morning by six goals to one. Julia Jeskee scored for the home side but a hat trick from Rianna Jarret and a goal each from Cara McDonald, Alysha Cullen and Julie Coakley ensured that Curracloe got all three points and remain level on points with Shelbourne

This was the final game of 2010 when the home side moved to the top of the premier division after they accounted for St Cormacs with ten goals to spare. Gina Foley was in great form and scored six with Mary Tyrell, Lucy Sherwin, Kate Cullen and Siobhan Grant Moorehead also getting on the scoresheet

Womens Premier Division
Kilmore United           0          Curracloe United        5
Curracloe moved top of the premier division when overcoming a young but resilient Kimore side who played well but found the firepower of the visitors too much to handle. Alysha Cullen scored twice to add to goals from Aoife Shiel, Kate Redmond and Tara Moloney to give Curracloe their sixth win of the season

The home side moved to within two points of leaders Seaview United after this six three win over near neighbours St Josephs. Bernie McCarthy and Amy Walsh scored two goals each while Noelle Jordan and Niamh O Connor added one each while Laura Warren scored two for the visitors with Aoife Kavanagh also getting on the scoresheet

The top match of the day saw these two division one title challengers play out an exciting three all draw and take a point each from what was a vital match for both sides. Seaview enjoyed the better of the first half and led three one at half time thanks to two goals from Sadie Murphy and an own goal when a Tramore defender deflected the ball to her own net. Zoe O Donoghue scored in the first half for the visitors and played a vital part in Tramores second half fight back as she supplied the cross for Jessica Gleeson to score and put Vanessa Ogobona through to score the equaliser

Womens Division Two A
Taghmon United         0          Shelbourne      7
Shelbourne made it nine wins from nine games when travelling to Taghmon and knocking in seven without reply and are now moving closer and closer to the league title. Gina Foley and Mary Rose Foley scored two each with Tara Kennedy, Lisa Murphy and Marcella Cullen all adding one each

A closely fought match in New Ross saw the home side keep the pressure on leaders Shilelagh when overcoming a much improved Moyne Rangers side by a solitary goal scored by Yvonne O Neill

Leinster Competitions
Any club interested in entering this seasons Leinster Cups should do so before Friday January 7th. Competitions will take place at Under Fourteen, Under Sixteen, Junior and Intermediate levels with teams from the Wexford Premier Division eligible for Intermediate while all other divisions are eligible for the Junior Cup. Wexford have an excellent record in these competitions and Benfica are current holders of the Intermediate Cup while Tramore won the Under Sixteen and Curracloe were beaten in the final of the Under Fourteen. Entry forms are now available from league secretary Deirdre O Connor and must be back with Emma English Byrne by Friday January 7th.
