Reports by Peter Doyle

Under Twelve Premier Division

Leaders Campile United played out a very exciting tie at home to Kilmore United before eventually running out 5-3 winners. Campile led 3-0 midway through the first half but Kilmore showed their fighting spirit and pulled the scoreline back to 3-3 before the break and it took a strong second half by the home side to clinch the three points. Kira Bates Crosbie (2) and Sophie Boxwell were on target for the visitors while Kathryn Dempsey (3), Eadaoin Kent and Kate Folly scored the vital goals for Campile. Ballindaggin kept alive their title ambitions when they travelled to Cloughbawn and came away 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Niamh McHugh and Orlagh Kehoe.

Under Twelve Division One

St Leonards made the long journey to Courtown Hibs and remain top of the table after the sides played out an exciting 1-1 draw. Lara Walsh was on target for Hibs while Clodagh Foran scored the vital goal for the Saints. The point keeps the visitors well clear at the top but Hibs have sufficient games in hand to catch them up in the coming weeks. Wexford Celtic moved second in the table when they recorded a 2-0 win over an understrength Gorey Celtic side with Ruth Hendrick and Aliat Kotun both on target. Seaview missed out on the opportunity to go second when they played out a scoreless draw at home to Bunclody

Under Twelve Division Two A

New Ross Town and Wexford Youths both remain deadlocked at the top of the division after both recorded wins on Saturday morning. Town travelled to Bridge Rovers and came away 4-1 winners with Amy O Connor scoring for Rovers . Wexford Youths overcame Moyne Rangers 2-0 with goals from Ciara Boland and Nadine Fortune, a result that practically guarantees them promotion in their debut season

Under Twelve Division Two B

Title contenders St Josephs and Corach Ramblers played out an exciting scoreless draw in Kilmuckridge on Saturday morning leaving them both on target to finish level at the top of the table. It was a tense tight encounter as would be expected between these two evenly matched sides with chances at a minimum and defences dominating. Tombrack and Forth Celtic also ended level with Laura McLoughlin but Mia Kelly earned Tomrack a point. Adamstown travelled to Killenagh and came away 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Isabelle Murphy and Aoife Herbert while Holly Moran was on target for the home side

Under Twelve Division Three

All Blacks lead the way in this division after they travelled to St Leonards on Thursday evening and came away 4-0 winners. A hat trick from Sarah Hendrick and a goal from Sarah Cleary gave the visitors their fifth win of the season and keep them three points clear. Shelburne second team remain well in the battle for the title after New Ross Town seconds were unable to fulfil a team for their fixture on Saturday morning. Camolin Celtic pulled themselves back into the title race after they overcame Rosslare Rangers 2-0 courtesy of two goals from Aine Byrne.

Under Sixteen Division One

Moyne Rangers collected their first point of the season in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Camolin Celtic, a second half Aoife Devereux hat trick helping them come from 4-2 down. Trish Doyle lad put Moyne ahead early in the game but goals from Nicola Curran, Aoife Curran and Siofra Doyle (2) saw Camolin lead before the home side battled back to earn a point. New Ross Town kept their outside chances of catching the leaders when they overcame bottom side St Josephs 6-2. Molly Carlton scored both goals for the home side but goals from Leah Arnold (2), Jessica Tobin, Grainne Ryan, Sinead Ryan and Sandra Murphy gave Town all three points. Bunclody remain unbeaten in the league as they overcame Seaview United 2-0 thanks to two goals from Britney Conroy. Bunclody’s Emma Tobin picked up a nasty injury in the game and had to be removed to hospital and everyone involved in the game would like to wish her a speedy recovery. Cloughbawn remain top of the table by the narrowest of margins after they overcame fellow title challengers Bree United 1-0 with Kate Murphy scoring the all important goal.

Under Sixteen Division Two

Leaders All Blacks had no game on Saturday but there two closest challengers Tombrack and Bridge Rovers cancelled each other in a 1-1 draw. Denise Bolger put Tombrack ahead but a Deirdre Byrne second half penalty earned Rovers a point. Wexford Celtic also remain in the hunt for promotion after they overcame Gorey Rangers 5-2 while Campile made the long journey to Arklow Town a worthwhile one as they came away 1-0 winners. Return of Gaynor Cup

Next Sunday will see the return of one of the leagues oldest competitions when the cup for the bottom four teams in the lowest division is revived. The Gaynor Cup was always one of the leagues most sought after trophies and its return will give some of the lesser successful clubs an opportunity to pick up some silverware. It was last played for in this format in 1997 when Tombrack United were the victors before the cup was changed to a divisional cup for division two sides. It was last played for in 2001 and was won by St Cormacs before being replaced by the Boland Carpets Cup
