Pitch Development Under Twelve Cup Second Round
The eight quarter
finalists for the Under Twelve Cup are now known after all eight second round
games went ahead on Saturday as fixed. In a thrilling encounter, Corach
Ramblers overcame Kilmore United in extra time as they progressed 1-0 thanks to
an Aisling Waters goal. New Ross Town also made it through as they overcame
Bunclody AFC 2-0 with Lauren Rossiter scoring a goal in each half to put the
home side into the quarter finals. Premier favourites Campile United travelled
to Ferrycarrig Park and booked their place in the last eight coming away 3-0
winners. The visitors led 1-0 at the break and goals from Kathryn Dempsey,
Lydia Mcgrath and Kate Foley saw Campile safely through. Cloughbawn overcame
Courtown Hibs 2-1 in another closely fought cup match with Elizabeth Dempsey
scoring twice for the winners while Lara Walsh was on target for Hibs. Another
close cup match saw Shelburne come away from All Blacks winning 3-2 to go
through to the last eight. Emma Carr and Sarah Hendrick scored for All Blacks
but a hat trick from Niamh Madigan saw the Ballywilliam side through. Tombrack
United are also in the pot for the quarter final draw after a second half goal
from Megan Kenny saw them overcome Bridge Rovers by that solitary goal.Holders Curracloe
United made the short journey into Sinnottstown Lane and made it through to the
last eight as they overcame Wexford Celtic 3-1 while Ballindaggin progressed
thanks to a 4-1 win over St Leonards. Clodagh Foran was on target for St
Leonards while goals from Niamh McHugh (3) and Breda Cushen saw Ballindaggin
through
Under Twelve
Division Two A
North End
United came from two goals down to earn a point away to Moyne Rangers. Ciara
McNally and Zoe Kearney had put Moyne ahead but the Wexford town side put in a
brave effort and goals from Tamsin Howell and Chloe Ennis Leniston saw them
fight back to earn a point

Division Two B
St Josephs
recorded their seventh win of the season when comfortably overcoming Killenagh
8-0 and move eight points clear of closest rivals Corach Ramblers who were
playing in the cup. Goals from Amy Mitten (4), Ciara Lyons (2), Ella Cullen and
Tanya Kennedy saw them comfortably in control. Forth Celtic and Adamstown
played out an fantastic end to end 1-1 draw with Lauren McLoughlin on target
for Forth while Isobelle Herbert scored for Adamstown
Under Twelve
Division Three
The race for
second place is hotting up in this division with St Josephs second team
travelling to Rosslare Rangers and coming away 2-0 winners thanks to goals from
Edel Kehoe and Katie Carr. New Ross Town second team travelled to Camolin
Celtic and came away 3-1 winners to keep in contention for at least promotion.
Aine Byrne was on target for Camolin but goals from Dearbhla Bailey (2) and
Molly Crowdle gave the visitors all three points

Under Sixteen Cup second Round
St Leonards
travelled to Kilmore on Sunday and came from 2-0 down to progress to the last
eight 3-2. Cora Miller and Becky Furlong put the home side ahead but goals from
Fiona Ryan (2) and Aine McGarr put the visitors through. Ballindaggin are also
through to the last eight as they proved too strong for Bridge Rovers and
progressed 3-0 thanks to a Sinead Nolan hat trick. Holders Killenagh Wanders
went through comfortably when overcoming Division Two side Wexford Celtic 6-0
thanks to two goals each from Aoife McCrea, Megan Chill and Sinead Gaynor.
Bunclody and New Ross Town played out a thriller before Town eventually
progressed 2-1 thanks to two Sinead Ryan goals while Britney Conroy was on
target for Bunclody. Curracloe United travelled to Seaview United and a 4-0 win
saw them progress thanks to goals from Lauren Fitzgerald, Siobhan Doolan and
Dearbhla Doyle (2). Camolin Celtic and Bree United also played out a thrilling
encounter before Bree eventually progressed 2-1 thanks to goals from Louise
Butler and Niamh Sinnott while an unlucky Bree defender deflected the ball to
her own net for Camolins goal. Gorey Rangers continue their impressive debut
season when reaching the quarter finals of the cup after overcoming St Josephs
5-2. Ciara Hammett (3) and Alison McPartland (2) were on target for Rangers
while Pamela Walshe (2) was on target for St Josephs

Sixteen Division One
Cloughbawn moved
to the top of the division when travelling to Moyne and coming away 7-0 winners
thanks to goals from Jackie Carr (4), Hannah Keating, Abbie Kennedy and Niamh
Higgins
Under
Sixteen Division Two
All Blacks
extended their lead at the top of the division after they overcame Campile
United 2-0 thanks to two goals from Caoimhe McKeon as they recorded their eight
win of the season. Tombrack United remain in the hunt for the league when they
overcame Arklow Town 6-1 thanks to an impressive six goal tally from Denise
Bolger while Dieron Kavanagh was on target for Town
Womens
Premier Division
Coolgreaney
Celtic 1 Ferns United 3
Ferns were
crowned league champions for the fourth time as they recorded their eleventh
win of the season although they had to work hard in Coolgreaney to come away
with the three points needed. Leona Breen put Ferns ahead but Sinead Byrne got
the home side back level but goals from Caroline Murphy and Liz Everedd gave
Ferns the three points needed to retain their league title. Committee member
Sarah Merrigan was on hand to present the winning squad with their league
trophy with Ferns heading home for an evening of celebration.

The home
side remain in the hunt for second place after they did just enough to overcome
Seaview who are battling for points to pull away from the relegation zone.
Sheena Murphy was on target for the visitors but goals from Sharon Brown and
Becky Conroy gave Benfica all three points

Division One

Kilmore
travelled to Corach and returned to the top of the table when they overcame the
home side 3-1. Sinead O Connor was on target for Corach but two goals from
Jasmine Redmond and one from Chloe Troy keep Kilmore in the hunt for the title

Josephs 5
St Josephs
kept alive their possible chance of promotion when travelling to Glen Celtic
and coming away 5-2 winners. Lorraine O Connor scored both goals for Celtic but
goals from Becky Hayden (2), Michelle Gahan, Aine Roche and Pamela Walsh gave
the Kilmuckridge girls all three points
Cloughbawn B 4 Courtown
Hibs 0
Cloughbawn
took the honours in the battle for the bottom two as they overcame relegated
Hibs 4-0. Goals from Melissa Fenlon (2), Hannah Lambert and Shauna Murphy gave
them a lifeline in their battle against relegation.

Divisional
champions Castledockrell had to battle all the way before eventually coming
away from Tombrack with all three points, and most importantly the league
trophy. In a seven goal thriller, the visitors scored through Caitriona Murray,
Ellen Kelly, Rachel Casey and an own goal while Tombrack were on target through
Martina Ivory, Sinead Ryan and Denise Bolger. League treasurer Ashling Kavanagh
presented the trophy to the victorious squad after the match to spark off a
night of celebration for the Castledockrell girls
Forth Celtic 2 Camolin
Celtic 3
Camolin are
still in the hunt for promotion with only one point dividing second to fourth
after this 3-2 win away to Forth Celtic. Chloe Fox and Rachel Scannell were on
target for Forth but goals from Niamh O Leary, Megan Murray and Siobhan Finn
gave Camolin victory
Bunclody AFC 0 Shilelagh
United 1
Shilelagh
had to work hard to overcome Bunclody and have now moved second in the table
after this single goal victory. Erika Dagge scored the only goal of a very
close game and secured the three points that moves her side into a strong
position in the table

Crossabeg
completed their league campaign with a 3-0 defeat away to Cushinstown with Amie
Gaffney scoring two while Mag Kehoe also got her name on the scoresheet.

Rosslare
Strand clinched third place in the league after this win away to Moyne Rangers
with Sarah Walsh and Shannon O Brien on target for Strand while Ciara Tobin
scored for the home side.

The home
side got off to the ideal start in this match and led 3-0 after 14 minutes but
the very experienced Dublin side battled back to 4-4 at half time and then
dominated the second half to run out 10-4 winners. Mary Tyrell (2), Siobhan
Grant Moorehead and Shauna Wall were all on target for the home side who will
hopefully have learned from the experience of playing such high profile
opponents and can now concentrate the remainder of their season in their battle
against relegation
