Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 04-11-2012

Under Twelve Premier Division
Kilmore United moved top of the table after an exciting four two win over Curracloe with Kira Bates Crosbie scoring two to add to goals from Anna Bates and Sophie Boxwell while Sarah Siggins scored both for Curracloe. In the other match in the division, Bunclody and Fastnet Rovers played out a two all draw which saw them both pick up their first point of the season

Under Twelve Division One
Taghmon made the long journey a worthwhile one as they came away with all three points courtesy of a five nil victory. Emma Clarke scored two with  Mairead Nolan, Niamh Lacey and Laura Butler all adding one each. North End United travelled to Campile and came away with the three points after a two one win

Under Twelve Division Two A
Seaview United made it three wins from three games as they overcame Shelburne six one to move two points clear at the top. Brid Madigan scored for the home side but a Libby Sutton hat trick, two goals from Alison Molloy and a solitary goal from Storm Eaton gave Seaview victory. Five goals from Fiona Ryan and one from Aoife Ryan gave St Leonards a six nil win in Bridge Rovers while Wexford Celtic proved much too strong for a young Killenagh Wanderers side running out comfortable ten one winners. Anna Marcelle scored four for Celtic while Charlotte Breen and Niamh Tormey added two each with Chloe Adams and Ciara Bridges also scoring for the home side. Kyra Quigley was on target for Killenagh.

Under Twelve Division Two B
Leaders Corach Ramblers and New Ross Town remain deadlocked at the top of the table after they drew one all in New Ross. Zoe Rossiter was on target for Town after Corach had took an early lead. Courtown Hibs remain just a point behind the leaders after they overcame St Josephs six two with Lara Walsh scoring four to add to goals from Amy Robertson and Gina Burke while Amy Mitten and Ciara Lyons were on target for St Josephs. Rosslare Rangers and Forth Celtic played out a scoreless draw to get their first point each.

Under Twelve Division Three
Adamstown sit top of the table after a six three win away to Cloughbawn with Jasmine Martin scoring a hat trick for the visitors, two goals from Maeve Wickham and one from Isobelle Morgan while Tara Doyle scored a hat trick for Cloughbawn. Tombrack sit second after overcoming Campile second team eight one with Shannon McGovern, Katie O Toole and Leanne Kenny scoring two each with Shauna McGovern and Amie Dreelan also scoring while Niamh Lyng scored for Campile. Amy Shannon scored two and Chantelle Casey added one for Enniscorthy Town as they beat Camolin Celtic three one with Aine Byrne on target for Celtic

Under Sixteen Premier Division
Killenagh Wanderers lead the way in the premier division after beating Curracloe United four one with Sinead Gaynor scoring two to add to goals from Megan Cahill and Cailin Fitzpatrick while a Killenagh defender deflected a Curracloe shot into the net for the visitors goal. St Leonards moved second after a big win away to Forth Celtic as they overcame the Murrintown side ten one

Under Sixteen Division One
Ballindaggin and Bunclody are deadlocked at the top of the table after both recorded wins with Bunclody travelling to St Josephs and coming away seven two winners. Caoimhe Denton and Niamh Atkinson were both on target for Ballindaggin as they beat Rathnure United two nil. Bree and Kilmore played out an exciting one all draw with Aideen Byrne on target for Bree and Saoirse Colfer scoring for Kilmore

Under Sixteen Division Two
A Sinead Ryan hat trick saw New Ross Town overcome All Blacks three one while Camolin Celtic travelled to Tombrack and came away six nil winners. Nicole Curran and Nicole Byrne scored two each while Chelsey Kelly and Teghan Furlong added one each for Camolin

Womens Premier Division
Cloughbawn    1          Tramore FC     7
Tramore remain joint top of the table after eventually breaking down the stubborn resistance of the home team who scored through Marcella Cullen. However four goals from Vanessa Ogbonna and two from Niamh Walsh and one from Orla Hickey keep the title holders well in contention to retain their title

Ferns United   11        Adamstown    0
Six goals from Liz Everedd set joint leaders Ferns well on the way as they overcame an Adamstown side who are failing to live up to expectations this season. Rachel Collier scored two with Ali Everedd, Nicola Kirwana and Georgina Moore adding one each as the home side ran out comfortable eleven nil winners

Benfica            1          Coolgreaney Celtic     0          (Abandoned due to unplayable pitch)
Coolgreaney will have to make the long journey to Waterford again as this game fell foul to the heavy rain and was abandoned with twenty eight minutes remaining in what was proving to be a very competitive encounter

Womens Division One A
Shilelagh United         2          Killenagh Wanderers  3
Killenagh edge to the top of what is looking to be a very competitive division and Shilelagh must wonder what they have to do to pick up a point after leading two nil in this game thanks to two Fiona Byrne goals. However a Claire Halvey hat trick saw the visitors leave with all three points and go a point clear top of the table

These two sides played out a thrilling one all draw that could have went either way but a draw was probably a fair result in the end. Michelle Murphy was on target for Celtic while Bridget McDonald scored for Town

Womens Division One B
St Josephs       0          Glen Celtic      3
Glen Celtic join New Ross Town on top of the division after this three nil win away to St Josephs. Michelle Darcy scored two and Katie Sludds added one as came away with all three points

Courtown Hibs           1          Forth Celtic     5
Lauren Ramsey was on target for Hibs but goals from Lauren Carthy, Aoife Rossiter, Sharon Donoghue and two from Emer Doherty saw Forth Celtic come away with the three points that moves them to within two points of the leaders

Bunclody AFC           3          Fastnet Rovers            1
Bunclody collected their first three points of the season as they overcame Fastnet Rovers three one. Goals from Nicole Fortune, Michaela Gethings and Hayley Browne gave the home side victory with Ann Breen scoring for Rovers

Womens Division Two A
All Blacks       5          Tombrack United        2
Leaders All Blacks had to work hard to overcome bottom club Tombrack but a hat trick from Aoife Traynor and a goal each from Tina Colloton and Roisin Furlong saw them record their sixth win of the season. Mary Martin and Martina Ivory were on target for Tombrack

Taghmon United         0          Rosslare Rangers         0
Defences dominated this game and both sides had to settle for a point each, a point which moves Rangers into second place

Womens Division Two B
Rosslare Strand           8          Crossabeg AFC           0
Only one game survived in this division and Strand moved second in the table after this comfortable win over bottom club Crossabeg. Niamh White scored a hat trick while Grainne Brett found the net twice and goals from Amanda Buggy, Karen Koolhoff and an own goal saw the home side win eight nil
