Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 18-11-2012

Under Twelve Premier Division
Kilmore moved three points clear at the top of the under twelve premier division after travelling to Ballindaggin and coming away four nil victors. Kira Bates Crosbie scored two with Sophie Boxwell and Anna Bates adding a goal each to give the visitors their third win of the season. Meanwhile Curracloe United moved second when they collected all three points on their travels to Fastnet Rovers thanks to a hat trick from Sarah Siggins and a solitary goal from Sarah Whelan

Under Twelve Division One
Taghmon lead the way in this division after overcoming Moyne Rangers by four goals to nil thanks to goals from Emma Clarke, Therese Redmond and two from Mairead Nolan. North End United and Gorey Celtic played out a three all draw with Nicole Galvin scoring two and Chelsey Pitman adding one for North End while Ciara Hammett scored two for Celtic with Caragh Clarke also finding the net

Under Twelve Division Two A
Seaview are top of the division after overcoming title contenders and near neighbours St Leonards four one in Ballycullane. Kathlyn Kearon was on target for the home side but two goals from Libby Sutton and one apiece from Jennifer Dunne and Aisling Fitzgerald moved Seaview five points clear at the top of the table. Wexford Celtic travelled to Shelburne and knocked in ten without reply with Anna Marcella scoring five, Ciara Bridges adding two and Niamh Tormley, Ruth Hendrick and Chloe Adams all scoring one each. Bridge Rovers travelled to Killenagh and came away seven three winners

Under Twelve Division Two B
Corach Ramblers and New Ross Town are still tied at the top of the table after both recorded wins at home to Rosslare Rangers and Courtown Hibs respectively. Jane Rossiter scored a hat trick to add to two goals from Niamh Miller and one from Ashling Waters as Ramblers won six nil while Jenny Canning, Zoe Rossiter and Tara Redmond all scored for New Ross in their three nil win over Hibs. St Josephs recorded their second win of the season when overcoming Forth Celtic two one with Amy Mitten hitting the target twice while Lauren McLoughlin scored for Celtic

Under Twelve Division Three
Adamstown are looking very impressive in this division as they overcame Enniscorthy Town ten one with Jasmine Martin scoring six, Isobel Herbert on target with a hat trick while Maebh Wickham also found the net. Chantel Casey was on target for a young Town side. Tombrack also remain unbeaten as they travelled to Cloughbawn and won one nil in a very close game with Leanne Kenny scoring the all important goal. Campile United second string proved too strong for Camolin Celtic and ran out six nil winners with Caitlin Barron and Heather Walsh scoring two each while Elena Kenny and Jade Cleere added one each

Under Sixteen Premier Division
Curracloe have pulled themselves back into the title race after a poor start to the league and moved second after a four nil win away to St Leonards. Noleen Shanahan scored two with Rianna Cullen and Lauren Fitzgerald adding a goal each to move the seasiders to within a point of leaders Killenagh. Forth Celtic are also well in contention after travelling to Seaview and coming away two one winners after a very competitive encounter with Fiona Rowe on target for Seaview

Under Sixteen Division One
Only three points divide the top five in this division which is shaping up to be the most closely contested division in the league in years. Ballindaggin and Kilmore played out a one all draw with Sinead Nolan on target for the home side while Rebecca Furlong scored for Kilmore. Rathnure United and Bunclody played out a scoreless draw with defences dominating while Bree United travelled to St Josephs came away five nil winners despite the best efforts of Anne Daly in the home side goal. Aileen Byrne and Niamh Sinnott scored two each for Bree with Sophie McCabe also scoring

Under Sixteen Division Two
Camolin Celtic and New Ross Town are tied at the top of the division as both sides have won all three of their games to date. Camolin ran out comfortable six nil winners over Bridge Rovers with Nicole Curran and Aoife Curran scoring two each while Michelle Kehoe and Jemma Nugent adding a goal each. Sinead Ryan scored two for New Ross with Chloe Bookie and Janine Doyle adding one each in a four two win over Tombrack with Deniece Bolger scoring both goals for the visitors

Womens Premier Division
Tramore FC     1          Ferns United   3
The most eagerly awaited match of the season saw the top two in the premier division meet for the first time and it was the visitors who came away with the points after a very strong first half performance. Ferns took control in the first forty five minutes and led three nil at the break with Liz Everedd scoring two and Leona Breen adding one. Despite a much improved second half performance, Tramore could only pull one back when Vanessa Ogbonna scored but it was not enough as Ferns took the honours and move back joint top of the table with Tramore

Seaview moved into third place after they comfortably overcame Cloughbawn six nil and still keep alive hopes of catching the top two. Jo Rossiter and Eimear Mullan scored two goals each with Jane Banville and Brid Kehoe adding one each

Coolgreaney Celtic     2          Benfica            2
Coolgreaney picked up their first point of the season when drawing two all with Benfica in a close competitive encounter. Anne Higgins and Jackie Kinch were on target for Celtic while Jenny Simpson and Clara Fox were on target for the Waterford side in a game that could have a big bearing in a very closely contested relegation dogfight

Womens Division One A
Kilmore United           2          North End United       4
North End have clawed their way up the table of late and now sit joint top after inflicting the first defeat of the season on Kilmore. Niamh Moore and Diane Doyle were on target for the home side but two goals from Leanne O Reilly and one each from Tracy Nolan and Sara Byrne gave the visitors a very important three points

Womens Division One B
New Ross Town         1          St Josephs       4
St Josephs moved into a challenging position in the table when they inflicted the first defeat of the season on New Ross Town. Josie Murphy was on target for the home side  but goals from Tracey McCormack, Pamela Walsh, Louise Hammell and Becky Hayden gave the Kilmuckridge side their third win of the season

The home side are making a brave effort to get away from the relegation zone as they overcame bottom side Courtown Hibs two one. Annie Breen and Shirley O Neill scored for Rovers while Claire O Connor was on target for Hibs

Bunclody AFC           2          Forth Celtic     0
A revamped Bunclody side picked up their second win of the season when overcoming promotion challengers Forth Celtic with a goal in each half. Sarah Halpin scored in the opening forty five minutes while Terri Byrne scored late in the second half to secure the win

Corach Ramblers         5          Glen Celtic      2
Ramblers have pulled themselves into the promotion hunt when overcoming leaders Glen Celtic five two. Anne Reck scored twice for Celtic but four goals from Ciara Roche and one from Jackie Sinnott gave Corach a very important three points

Womens Division Two A
Tombrack United        2          Rosslare Rangers         1
The home side collected their first three points of the season when overcoming second placed Rosslare Rangers by the odd goal in three. Deniece Bolger scored two for the home side while an unlucky Tombrack defender deflected the ball into her own net for the Rangers goal

Moyne Rangers           1          Cloughbawn    1
These two sides are in danger of relegation and neither did themselves any favours as they had to settle for a point each in this match. Joanne Kennedy was on target for Cloughbawn while Megan O Shea scored for Moyne

Womens Division Two B
Cushinstown AFC      0          Castledockrell United 6
Castledockrell are looking more and more like champions with each passing week as they picked up their sixth win of the season when winning away to Cushinstown. Two goals each from Annmarie Foley and Caitriona Murray and one apiece from Alma Morris and Cait Doyle gave the visitors a comfortable six goal cushion

Crossabeg collected their first ever point in womens soccer after eighteen months of trying when holding promotion challengers Rosslare Strand to a draw. Bernie Browne scored the goal for the home side that earned them that historic point while Karen Koolhoff scored for Strand

Camolin Celtic            6          Bree United    3
Three goals from Megan Murray as well as two from Amanda Murphy and one from Aoife Quinn moved Camolin into second place in the division after this six three win over Bree. Nicola Rochford, Mary O Gorman and Laura Sinnott were all on target for the visitors
