Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 25-11-2012

Under Ten Premier Division
Campile United have moved to the top of the premier division when they overcame Kilmore United by a solitary goal in a fantastic game of under ten soccer. Both sides provided an excellent match for the good size crowd with Amy Ennis scoring the all important goal. Curracloe moved second when overcoming Moyne two nil thanks to goals from Grace Harding Kenny and Lily Stout

Under Ten Division One
Hat tricks from Katie Bates and Laoise Kearney gave Bunclody a six nil win over Gorey Celtic and move them joint top of the table. Courtown Hibs also won six nil and join Bunclody at the top with Ella Maree scoring four to add to goals from Holly Tobin and Amy Robertson

Under Ten Division Two A
St Leonards lead the way in division two after overcoming All Blacks four one to go three points clear. Shannon Doyle scored for All Blacks but goals from Eabha Cullen, Emma Whelan, Clodagh Foran and Lauren Roche gave the home side all three points in a chilly Ballycullane. Rita Lawlor scored twice for St Josephs in Taghmon but it was not enough as a Laura Banville hat trick gave the home side all three points. Killenagh Wanderers v Bridge Rovers was the only game of the day to fall fall of the inclement weather on Saturday

Under Ten Division Two B
Two goals from Caitlin Blackburn saw bottom club Cloughbawn shock leaders Rosslare Rangers two nil while Corach Ramblers moved second after a four nil win over Adamstown thanks to goals from Therese Keating, Siobhan Rossiter, Keelyn Ryan and Abbey Redmond.
New Ross Town also picked up three points when overcoming Tombrack three nil courtesy of two goals from Elle Nugent and one from Emma Rossiter

Under Fourteen Premier Division
Curracloe United proved much too sstrong for Killenagh Wanderers on Saturday and moved top of the table courtesy of a ten one win. Cailin Fitzpatrick was on target for Wanderers but four goals from Siobhan Doolan, two each from Fiona Kinsella and Jessie Harding, and one goal from Dearbhla Doyle gave Curracloe a comfortable win. Kilmore United remain in contention after travelling to Cloughbawn and coming away seven one winners thanks to two goals each from Aine Maher and Cora Miller and one apiece from Becky Furlong, Grace Barry and Emily Bates. Hannah Keating was on target for Cloughbawn

Under Fourteen Division One
Moyne Rangers and Seaview United are locked at the top of the table after wins on Saturday over St Josephs and Ballindaggin respectively. Four goals from Aideen Byrne set Moyne on the way to an eight nil win over St Josephs with Megan Dobbs adding two and Caoimhe O Leary and Leah Furlong scoring one each. Two goals for Emily Dundon saw Seaview overcome third placed Ballindaggin two nil and join Moyne at the head of the table with Ballindaggin still well in the hunt just a point behind. St Leonards caused a shock when overcoming Bunclody three two thanks to two goals from Muireann Kehoe and one from Niamh Browne

Under Fourteen Division Two A
North End United and Campile United provided an excellent game of football before North End eventually did enough to take all three points and move joint top of a very tight division. Campile led two nil through two goals from Eva Boland but a great comeback by the Wexford two girls saw them win three two courtesy of two goals from Chelsey Pitman and one from Natasha Byrne. Gorey Celtic are also joint top after they received a walkover from Rosslare Rangers while Bridge Rovers are just a point behind those three after a five one win over Rathnure United. Nora Higgins scored for Rathnure but a Chloe Mythen hat trick and goals from Deirdre Byrne and Molly Byrne gave Bridge all three points

Under Fourteen Division Two B
Fastnet Rovers maintained their one hundred per cent record when overcoming New Ross Town five one thanks to four goals from Annmarie Bennett and one from Rachel Bennett while Lauren Rossiter scored for Town. Wexford Celtic overcame a young Tombrack side six nil thanks to goals from Rebecca Smith, Niamh Tormey, Ciara Rochford, Ciara Bridges, Katie Bergin and Sarah Murphy. All Blacks moved second after a comfortable ten nil win over an under strength Enniscorthy Town with Emily Coakley scoring five, Abbie Jones scoring four and Lauren Power adding one

Under Eighteen League
Cloughbawn moved top of the table when overcoming previous leaders Seaview three nil on Saturday morning. Gina Foley, Megan Whitty and Kate Cullen were all on target for the home side to record their third win of the season. Killenagh travelled to Ferns where they took all three points when overcoming an understrength home side five nil to record their first win of the season.

Womens Division One A
Shilelagh United         0          Wexford Celtic           2
Wexford Celtic become one of four teams sitting on top of division one after travelling to Shilelagh and coming away with victory. The home side have made every team in the division battle for victory and still unluckily sit bottom of the table without a point to show for their trouble. A goal in each half from Lisa Marie Doyle gave Celtic the three points in this game and moved them joint top of the most competitive division in the league

Womens Division One B
New Ross Town         2          Corach Ramblers         1
The home side moved joint top of the table with Glen Celtic after this two one win over Corach Ramblers. Julie Sinnott was on target for Rambler but a Jenny Delaney penalty and a goal from Anne Carroll gave New Ross Town their fifth win of the season

Womens Division Two B
Rosslare Strand           7          Campile United           0
(abandoned in 68th minute due to weather)
Strand were cruising in this game and had knocked in seven without reply before the referee brought the game to a halt with twenty two minutes to go as the inclement weather made playing conditions dangerous. For the record, Jenny Murphy had scored a hat trick for the home side with Grainne Brett adding two while Ania Blachon and Karen Koolhoff added one each. However whether the result stands or not will go to the womens league committee to decide
