Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 30-10-2011

Under Twelve Premier Division
Curracloe United and Shelbourne are deadlocked at the top of the Premier Division with seven points each after big wins against Campile and Bunclody respectively. Curracloe knocked in nine without reply while Shelbourne came away from Bunclody seven one winners. Killenagh Wanderers are just a point behind after a closely contested two one win in Bree

Under Twelve Division One
Ferns United lead the way in this division after inflicting the first defeat in over eighteen months on Kilmore United when winning two one at home. Fastnet Rovers are three points behind after a two nil win at home to Moyne Rangers

Under Twelve Division Two A
Gorey Celtic and St Leonards both recorded victories on Saturday to sit jointly top of division two A. Celtic overcame All Blacks six three in Gorey while St Leonards beat Seaview one nil in a very exciting local derby

Under Twelve Division Three
Wexford Celtic recorded their first win of the season when they overcame Kilmore United second string and Rosslare Rangers picked up an easy three points when Cloughbawn were unable to field a team at home

Under Sixteen Premier Division
Shelbourne are well in contention for honours in this division when overcoming North End United by a solitary goal while Curracloe also remain in touch with a five one win over a young Kilmore United side. Ferns United also kept in touch with the leaders as they defeated St Josephs three nil at home

Under Sixteen Division One
In a very close division one, St Leonards overcame Killenagh Wanderers by the odd goal in three as they won two one in Ballycullane while Bunclody were very impressive in accounting for a young Bree United side seven one. Moyne Rangers had to withdraw their under sixteen side due to lack of numbers which means all other teams in this division will be awarded the relevant points

Womens Premier Division
St Cormacs      2          Seaview United          0
The home side moved back into contention in the top division as they overcame a determined Seaview side with a goal in each half. Bernie McCarthy was on target with both as St Cormacs join Curracloe and Adamstown on nine points each

Tramore FC     6          Benfica            2
The first all Waterford derby of the season saw Tramore take the honours with a comfortable six two win over a young Benfica side who led two nil thanks to goals from Sarah Hough and Becky Conroy. However a Vanessa Ogbonna hat trick and a goal each from Orla Hickey, Tara Power and Niamh Walsh saw Tramore move six points clear at the top of the division

Curracloe United        2          Adamstown    1
These two sides are in contention for honours but it was Curracloe who came out on top in this very entertaining encounter. Ann Marie Dunphy put Adamstown ahead but second half goals from Aisling Kehoe and Aoife Shiel gave the home side a well deserved three points

Womens Division One A
St Josephs       0          Enniscorthy Town       4
Enniscorthy Town travelled to Kilmuckridge and made it five wins from five games as they overcame the home side four nil

Shelbourne      8          Kilmore United           3
The home side stay in touch with the leaders after a high scoring encounter against fellow challengers Kilmore. Jasmine Redmond scored two for Kilmore with Niamh Moore scoring a penalty but five goals from Charlotte o Keefe and one each from Gina Foley, Jodie Keane and Marcella Cullen saw the Ballywilliam side run out comfortable winners

Forth Celtic     1          North End United       1
Celtic picked up their first point of the season with this one all draw at home to North End who suprisingly find themselves just above the relegation zone. Leanne O Reilly scored for North End at the beginning of the second half but Caoimhe Dunne levelled for Forth midway through the half

Womens Division One B
Corach Ramblers         1          Wexford Celtic           6
Wexford Celtic are well clear in this division after picking up their fourth win of the season away to Corach Ramblers. Nelly Walsh scored four as she continued her good form in front of goal, Elva Lynch added the other two while Leanne O Grady scored for Ramblers

Arklow United            0          Glen Celtic      8
Glen Celtic made the long journey to Arklow worthwhile as they ran out comfortable eight nil winners to move second. Lorraine O Connor scored a hat trick, Jenna Sludds added two goals while Shellie Jordan, Laura Dagge and Katie Sludds all added one each

Courtown Hibs           2          Tombrack United        0
The home side are chasing the leading pack after this two nil win over Tombrack who now find themselves in relegation trouble

Womens Division Two A
New Ross Town         3          Taghmon United         0
Town are clear at the top of the division after this hard earned three nil win over Taghmon thanks to two goals from Anne Carroll and one from Jenny White

Rosslare Rangers         2          New Ross Celtic         2
Two goals from Bobbi Doyle gave Rangers a well earned point at home to Celtic who moved into joint second after this draw

Fastnet Rovers            2          All Blacks       2
Both these sides are in joint second and had to settle for a point in this closely contested encounter. Tina Colleton scored both goals for All Blacks while Lorraine Breen and Joanne Jordan were on target for Rovers

Womens Division Two B
Rosslare Strand           0          Moyne Rangers           4
Moyne joined Strand at the top of the table after this four nil win in Rosslare thanks to one goal each from Laura Foley and Ciara Tobin with Laura Murphy scoring twice

Bree United    3          Campile United           1
The home side collected their second win of the season as they overcame Campile three one. Linda Martin, Clare Sheehan and Kate Murphy were on target for Bree while Clare Howlin scored for Campile

Cloughbawn    12        Crossabeg        0
An understrength Crossabeg side had no answer to the firepower of the home side who move up to third after this big win. Joanne Kennedy scored five with Tracy Martin and Flo Butler scoring two each while Tara Somers, Melissa Fenlon and Linda Kelly all added one apiece
