Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 05-11-2011

Under Ten Premier Division
Kilmore United moved to the top of the table after a five nil win away to a young Ballindaggin side. Kira Bates Crosbie kept up her good scoring form with four while Sophie Boxwell scored the other goal. Katie Murphy scored twice for Shelbourne at home to Curracloe but it was not enough as goals from Audrey Fielding, Kiera O Connor, Hannah Hearne and Grace Harding Kenny gave the visitors their first win of the season

Under Ten Division One
Campile United and Moyne Rangers look like they are the teams to beat in this division and both recoreded big wins away to Ferns and St Josephs on Saturday respectively. Nadine Fortune scored for Ferns but goals from Eadaoin Kent, Michelle Kinsella, Kate Foley, Amelia Coyne, Katie Kehoe, Heather Walsh amd Kathryn Dempsey gave Campile a seven one win. A Faye Larkin hat trick as well as goals from Precious Absohan, Paige Mitchell and Maeve Foley gave Moyne a six one win over St Josephs with Amy Mitten scoring for Joeys

Under Ten Division Two A
Courtown Hibs proved too strong for a young All Blacks and knocked in eight without reply with Ella scoring a hat trick, Gina added two and Caoimhe, Amy and Lara all scoring one each. Forth Celtic and Gorey Celtic produced a very competitive entertaining game before Forth eventually came out on top three one. Emma Lynch was on target for Gorey but two goals from Aoife Bridges and one from Ellen Goggins gave Forth all three points

Under Ten Division Two B
Corach moved to the top of the division when overcoming Glen Celtic four one with Rebecca Holmes and Shannon Anglim scoring two each for Ramblers while Naomi Larrisey scored for Celtic. In the other game, Taghmon and Bridge Rovers played out a one all draw with Kate Byrne putting Rovers ahead before Therese Redmond levelled for Taghmon

Under Ten Division Three
Camolin Celtic picked up their first three points of the season when getting the better of Cloughbawn by four goals to nil

Under Fourteen Premier Division
Shelbourne moved well clear at the top of the division when beating Forth Celtic six two in Murrintown. Jodie Rochford and Aine Marris were on target for Celtic but a Hannah Keating hat trick and goals from Shauna Wall, Eimear Mernagh and Mairead O Shea gave the Ballywilliam girls all three points. Bree United picked up their first three points when proving too good for St Josephs and running out five two winners. Pamela Walsh and Annie Dempsey scored for the home side but two goals from Aideen Kane and one each from Niamh Sinnott, Aoife C Rochford and Aoife Codd gave Bree victory

Under Fourteen Division One
Killenagh Wanderers moved top of the division when overcoming Seaview United six nil thanks to a hat trick from Cailin Fitzpatrick and one each from Ailish O Connor, Anna Doyle and Sinead Gaynor. Kilmore United opened their league campaign with a six one win over St Leonards with Chloe Miller scoring a hat trick, Emily Bates scored twice while Chloe Bates also scored. Sinead Ryan was on target for St Leonards

Under Fourteen Division Two A
Bunclody moved top of Division Two A after this six two win over Corach Ramblers and moved them a point clear of the chasing pack. Mairead Moran scored two for Ramblers but four goals from Kate Hendrick and one each from Shauna Kearney and Britney Conroy gave Bunclody the three points. Moyne Rangers enjoyed a great win over Bridge Rovers to move joint second with Aideen Byrne scoring five in a seven three win with Abigail Gordon and Sarah Doyle scoring one each. Rebecca Carter scored two for Rovers while Kelly Scanlon got one. Ballindaggin also moved joint second after a three nil win over North End United with Sinead Nolan, Niamh Atkinson and Caoimhe Denton all on target

Under Fourteen Division Two B
Camolin Celtic made it three wins from three games as they ran out six nil winners over New Ross Town. Nicole Byrne and Aoife Curran scored two each with Chloe Ronan and Chloe House adding one each. All Blacks and Wexford Celtic played out a one all draw with Aoife Goldsmith putting Blacks ahead before Ciara Bridges levelled for Celtic. Rosslare Rangers got an easier than expected three points when Cloughbawn were unable to field a team

Under Eighteen League
Shelbourne made it three wins from three games when proving too strong for a young Tombrack side and running out eleven nil winners. Kate Cullen scored a hat trick while Jodie Keane and Megan Whitty scored two each to add to individual goals from Siobhan Grant, Patrice Lawlor, Gina Foley and Mary Tyrell. Ferns United were also big winners as they beat Adamstown ten nil with Gemma Kehoe scoring four, Leona Breen grabbed a hat trick, Eimear Nolan scored two and Hayley Nolan added one. Seaview United were three one winners over St Cormacs in a very close competitive game with Shauna Sinnott scoring for the Saints while Sheena Murphy, Eimear Mullen and Leanne Foley scored for Seaview

Womens Premier Division
Benfica            2          Adamstown    3
Adamstown moved into second place in the premier division after this three two win in Waterford, a defeat that moves Benfica to the bottom of the table. In a thrilling contest, Becky Conroy and Sarah Hough were on target for the home side but a Chantelle Martin hat trick gave Adamstown a well deserved three points

Killenagh Wan            0          Seaview United          2
Seaview have moved out of the bottom two after this win away to Killenagh Wanderers and the Duncannon side are now beginning to find their feet in the top division. Goals from Catherine Doyle and Sandra Foley gave Seaview the points in what could be a vital game in decides who gets relegated

Ferns United   2          Tramore FC     2
League leaders Tramore dropped their first points of the season as they drew two all with a rapidly improving Ferns side. Hayley Nolan gave the home side the lead but Jeanne Clancy levelled for Tramore just before half time and Ferns looked to be heading for the three points when Hayley Nolan scored her second with twenty minutes to go. However as injury time approached Vanessa Ogbonna scored to give Tramore a very fortunate point

Womens Division One A
Shelbourne      4          Coolgreaney Celtic     3
Coolgreany will feel very unlucky not to have left Ballywilliam with at least a point as they pushed title contenders Shelbourne right to the end. Deirdre Healy, Mary Jo Lawless and Sarah Merrigan all scored for Celtic but two goals from Gina Foley and one each from Angelina Westnott and Marcella Cullen gave Shelbourne a very important victory

Enniscorthy Town       2          North End United       2
Leaders Town dropped their first points of the season, allowing Shelbourne to close the gap as they drew two all with North End. Nicola Davitt gave the home side the lead but goals from Leanne O Reilly and Shauna Gleeson had the Wexford girls in front until Diane Leniston equalised ten minutes from time

Tombrack United        0          Shilelagh United         4
Shilelagh moved into second when proving too strong for a battling Tombrack side. The Wicklow side led three nil at half time thanks to two goals from Fiona Byrne and one from Fiona Dagge. Claire Turner added a fourth with minutes to go late in the second half

Glen Celtic      2          Courtown Hibs           2
Two goals from Lorraine O Connor had Celtic cruising to three points in this match but a very determined Courtown Hibs never gave up and two Donna O Brien goals gave them a very valuable point

Womens Division Two A
Castledockrell United 0          Fastnet Rovers            1
Fastnet moved top of the table after a hard earned single goal victory over a determined home side. Eadaoinn Miskella scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half

Rosslare Rangers         7          Taghmon United         1
The home side proved too strong for bottom side Taghmon and remain well in contention for the title as they ran out seven one winners. Sarah Walsh scored a hat trick with Bobbi Doyle and Lisa Stafford adding two each. Gemma Doran was the goalscorer for Taghmon

All Blacks       1          New Ross Celtic         2
Celtic moved joint top of the division after this win over All Blacks with all goals coming in the first half. Rebecca Kehoe scored for All Blacks but two goals from Rosie Bennett gave the visitors all three points

Womens Division Two B

The home side moved into second place after this win over Campile with two goals each from Amanda Murphy and Megan Murray while Shelly Kent and Melissa Doyle were on target for the visitors

The home side are top of the division after this three one win over Bree who scored through Ashley Byrne. Goals from Aoife Martin, Laura Foley and Laura Murphy gave Rangers the three points
