Wexford and District Womens and Schoolgirls League 30-09-2012

Under Ten Premier Division
Campile United           1          Curracloe United        1
These two young under ten sides served up an excellent game of soccer before both came away with a point each. Sarah Foley scored for the home side with Grace Harding Kenny on target for the visitors

Under Ten Division One
Courtown Hibs           4          Taghmon United         1
Cora Banville was on target for Taghmon but a hat trick from Amy Robertson and a goal from Ella Maree gave Hibs victory and a good start to life in division one

Wexford Celtic           0          Bunclody AFC           11
Bunclody were just too strong for a young Wexford Celtic side who were unable to contain the firepower of the visitors. Hat tricks from Katie Bates, Laoise Kearney and Katie Moynihan as well as two goals from Leah Power gave Bunclody a comprehensive eleven goal victory

Under Ten Division Two A
St Josephs       2          Killenagh Wanderers  2
Killenagh led two nil at half time but two goals from Amy Mitten gave the home side a well deserved point in an entertaining local derby

St Leonards     2          Shelburne AFC           2
Clodagh Foran was on target twice for the home side as they shared four goals with a young Shelburne side who scored twice through Katie Murphy.

All Blacks       5          Bridge Rovers 3
Seren Ward, with two, Aoife Houghton, Zita Tiernan and Shauna O Connor were all on target for All Blacks in this high scoring win over Bridge Rovers. Casey Neville scored two for Bridge with Abhoie Manley also on target

Under Ten Division Two B
Tombrack United        5          Cloughbawn    1
Zoe Tobin Cosgrove scored a hat trick for the home side while her sister Amy Tobin Cosgrove also found the net with Mia Kelly also scoring to give Tombrack a five one win. Siobhan Hudson was on target for a young Clouhbawn side

Under Fourteen Premier Division
Kilmore United           1          Curracloe United        1
These two title favourites had to settle for a point each after this one all draw in Kilmore on Saturday. Rebecca Furlong was on target for the home side while Derbhla Doyle scored for the visitors

Cloughbawn    2          Bree United    4
Bree opened their campaign with a win away to Cloughbawn as two goals from Aideen Byrne and one each from Louise Butler and Abbie Kennedy was enough to give the visitors all three points. Hannah Keating and Megan West were on target for the home side.

Under Fourteen Division One
Ballindaggin    1          Moyne Rangers           0
A solitary goal from Abbie O Connor was enough to give Ballindaggin all three points in this very closely contested game with Moyne Rangers

Seaview United          2          St Josephs       1
The home side opened their season with a win as they overcame St Josephs by the odd goal in three. Siobhan Rowe was on target with both goals for the home side..

Bunclody AFC           2          St Leonards     0
Two very young sides produced a very entertaining match where Britney Conroy was the difference between both sides as she scored both the home side goals

Under Fourteen Division Two A
Rosslare Rangers         0          Bridge Rovers 6
Bridge came away from Rosslare with all three points as they knocked in six without reply. Deirdre Byrne scored twice for the visitors with Jamie Devereux, Julia Halpin, Sinead Ronan John and an own goal making up the visitors tally

Rathnure United         0          Campile United           4
Campile opened their campaign with a four nil win away to Rathnure.Grainne Ryan, Chloe Banville and two goals from Eva Boland gave the visitors all three points

Gorey Celtic    3          North End United       5
Amy Wilson scored a hat trick for the home side but a Natasha Rossiter hat trick and two goals from Stacey Farrell gave North End all three points

Under Fourteen Division Two B
Tombrack United        4          Enniscorthy Town       1
Both these young sides produced a very exciting game before the home side eventually took the three points with three second half goals. Shauna Dwyer was on target for Town but two goals from Shannon McGovern and one each from Leona Kenny and Rebecca Doran Doyle gave Tombrack all three points

New Ross Town         1          Wexford Celtic           11
Wexford Celtic were just too strong for a very young New Ross Town who tried hard but were unable to contain the firepower of the visitors

Fastnet Rovers            7          All Blacks       3
Emily Coakley scored a hat trick for All Blacks but goals from Rachel Bennett, two, Ciara Moore, Megan Fitzhenry White, Alice Harpur, Orla Brennan and Ann Marie Bennett gave the home side victory

Under Eighteen League
Cloughbawn    1          North End United       0
This under eighteen fixture produced some excellent football before Cloughbawn did just enough to sneak their first three points of the season. Both sides were very evenly matched but a first half Megan Whitty goal was enough to give Cloughbawn all three points.

Womens Premier Division
Benfica            1          Ferns United   3
Ferns collected a very important three points away to Benfica to win their second in a row and look to be very determined to take back the league title they relinquished to Tramore last season. Becky Conroy was on target for Benfica but Ferns took a well deserved three points through a goal from Josie Dwyer and two from Kerrie Nolan

Coolgreaney Celtic     1          Seaview United          5
Seaview made the long journey to Coolgreaney a worthwhile one as they came away with all three points after a five one victory. Laura Ryan was on target for Celtic but two goals from Catherine Doyle and one each from Jane Banville, Meabh Kehoe and Eimear Mullen gave Seaview a well deserved three points

Womens Division One A
North End United       2          Killenagh Wanderers  4
These two sides produced a high scoring encounter and end to end football before Killenagh eventually took all three points and their second win of the season. Sara Byrne and Leanne O Reilly were both on target for the home side but a Roisin O Connor hat trick and a Marian Cardiff goal gave the visitors victory

A weakened Curracloe side were no match for a Wexford Celtic side who took their chances and ran out deserved four nil winners. Michelle Murphy scored twice with Lisa Marie Doyle and Cara McDonald scoring one each

Enniscorthy Town       4          Shilelagh United         3
Town came out on top in a seven goal thriller as they overcame Shilelagh United four three, Fiona Byrne was on target twice for the visitors with Noreen Lambert adding a free kick. Jessica Martin, Nicola Davitt, Aoife Hegarty and Diane Leniston all scored for the home side

Womens Division One B
Courtown Hibs           1          Glen Celtic      4
Glen Celtic bounced back from their opening day defeat to New Ross Town as they overcame Hibs by four goals to one. Lauren Ramsey was on target for Hibs while Katie Sludds scored two for Celtic with Marie Parker and Michelle Darcy also finding the net

Forth Celtic     1          Corach Ramblers         0
Forth Celtic opened their league campaign with a win as they overcame Corach Ramblers by a single goal in a game of few chances. Caoimhe Dunne converted a penalty early in the second half to give her side all three points

Bunclody AFC           1          New Ross Town         6
New Ross Town have raced off to an early lead in this division as they comfortably overcame a young Bunclody side. Kellie Keating scored a hat trick with Lina Smitate, Linda Kelly and Jenny Delaney all scoring one each. Nicole Fortune was on target for Bunclody

Womens Division Two A
Rosslare Rangers         1          All Blacks       3
All Blacks made it two wins from two games as they overcame Rosslare Rangers three one. Roberta Butler was on target for Rangers but goals from Aoife Traynor, Roisin Furlong and an own goal gave All Blacks the points

Womens Division Two B
Crossabeg        0          Campile United           4
Campile took all three points as they travelled to Crossabeg and came away four  nil winners. Melissa Doyle scored two with Amy Molloy and Sandra Mythen adding one each.

Cushinstown   0          Camolin Celtic            6
Camolin opened their season with a win as they overcame new club Cushinstown six nil with Megan Murray scoring a hat trick, Sinead Furlong scoring two and Niamh O Leary adding a penalty

Rosslare Strand           5          Bree United    3
The home side took all three points at home to Bree with Karen Koolhoff scoring two to add to goals from Niamh White, Sinead Fitzpatrick and Sarah Farrell while Mary O Gorman scored two for Bree, the third goal coming from an unfortunate deflection by a Strand defender
