This division
promises to be very competitive this season and showed this when both opening
games were draws. Courtown and Ballindaggin produced an outstanding encounter
with Sasha Greene (2) and Hanna Redmond on target for Hibs while Niamh Doyle
and Ana Roban (2) finding the net for Ballindaggin
St Leonards 1 Seaview
United 1
These two local
rivals also produced a thrilling game which also ended in a draw. Abby Whitty
scored the goal for the home side with Sophie Doyle scoring to earn Seaview a
points

Moyne Rangers 0 North
End United 9
A very strong North
End side proved too strong for a young Moyne side and ran out comfortable
winners with a nine goal margin. Katie Law scored a personal tally of six with
Shannon McGuire and Leah Sinnott with two also finding the net
All Blacks 5 Curracloe
United 3
The home side came
out on top of this eight goal thriller between two sides who will both fancy
their chances of challenging for the title. Emma Cullen (2) and Caoimhe Whelan
scored for Curracloe while Cora Sinnott, Ciara Murphy and Aoibheann Rankin (3)
were all on target for All Blacks

Division Two A
New Ross Celtic 4 Adamstown 3
A Caoimhe Kehir
Murtagh hat trick gave Celtic a good foundation as they overcame Adamstown by
the odd goal in seven. Casey Murphy also scored for the home side while Karlina
Jarlarz, Ella Furlong and Ella Roche all found the net for Adamstown
Bunclody AFC 6 Bree
United 1
Grace Donoghue was
on target for Bree in this match but found the home side too strong on the day
as they ran out 6-1 winners. Jade Conroy, Katie Moynihan, Corie Fotzgerald,
Sarah Kenny and Jenna Conroy (2) all scored for Bunclody

Ross Town 3
Two goals from Emma
Rossiter and one from Aoibh Thomas gave New Ross Town a 3-0 victory away to
Wexford Youths
Rosslare Strand 1 St
Josephs 5
St Josephs made the
long journey to Rosslare a worthwhile one when they came away 5-1 winners
against a young home side. Sarah Walsh (3), Charlie Kennedy and Skye Kavanagh
were all on target for the visitors while Ashley Roche scored for Strand

Rosslare Rangers
proved too strong for a youthful Forth Celtic side and ran out comfortable 9-1
winners. Katie Kehoe scored for Celtic but goals from Tegan Fortune (4), Bobbi
Culleton (2), Abigail Clarke (2) and Amelia Reese gave Rangers all three points
Campile United 2 Cushinstown

These two sides
played out a thrilling draw as they shared four goals in Campile on Saturday
morning. Sally Kehoe and Lauren Howlin Bolger were on target for the home side
while Aoife Byrne scored both goals for Cushinstown

The Boolavogue girls
looked very impressive as they opened their season with a seven goal win over
Gorey Rangers second team. Emerson Doran scored four with Bronagh Kenny with a
hat trick made up their tally

Rovers 0
Celtic second string
overcame new club Fastnet Rovers in a very fast and exciting encounter with
Sinead Cullen (3) and Mia Quirke (2) both finding the net
Wexford Youths B 2 Shelburne
FC 1
Caitlin Gaffney was
on target for Shelburne but it was not enough as Rachel Meeney scored twice to
give Youths second string all three points
Bridge Rovers B 4 New
Ross Town B 0
Rovers second team
opened their season with a win and secured all three points with a 4-0 win over
Ross Town second team. Olivia Morris (3) and Aoife McEldowney were both on
target for Bridge
Aughrim Rangers 7 Carnew
FC 0
Aughrim Rangers
opened their season with a comfortable win over a young Carnew side and knocked
in seven without reply. Goals from Willow Jordan, Zoe O Connor, Aoife Campbell
and Abigail Whitney (4) gave the home side a historic three points

Town got off to a
flying start when they came away from Seaview comfortable winners with goals

These two Wicklow
sides played out a tense 1-1 draw with Kay Murphy scoring the goal for Carnew while Ella Jenkinson was on target for Arklow

girls opened their season with a win when they overcame Moyne Rangers 3-1 with
Holly Meehan (2) and Amy Mitten on target for the winners
