picked up their sixth premier under ten title in eight years when they overcame
closest challengers Ballindaggin 4-1. Polly Redmond gave the home side the lead
but Emily Roban levelled for the visitors just before the break. However, two
more goals from Polly Redmond and one from Zara Corrigan gave Curracloe the
three points required to wrap up the title. League committee member Adrian
Kehoe was on hand to present the victorious young side with their trophy

Youths 2
On Thursday
evening, cup finalists Wexford Youths travelled to Fastnet and came away 2-1
winners to move second in the table. Layla Stafford gave Youths an early lead
and they went 2-0 up when Aoife Walsh scored with Ruth McMahon scoring a
consolation for Fastnet late in the game

Tombrack United 0
Youths picked up
their second win in three days when they overcame one of their closest
challengers Tombrack with a goal in each half. Aoife Doran scored early in the
first half and although the visitors battled hard to get back on level terms,
Youths defended well and wrapped up the points with a goal from Tina O Reilly

Ferns United 1
The home side were
already champions before this game was played but they continued their good
form as they made it six wins from six games. Rebecca Cloney and Ava Hendrick
scored the all important goals with league committee member Aine Murphy on hand
to present the home side with their well earned league trophy. Ellie Kate
Larkin scored the goal for Ferns.

Kilmore United 2
Moyne Rangers 1
After a scoreless
first half, Kilmore moved to the top of the table after they overcame Moyne
Rangers 2-1 in what is proving to be a very competitive division. Kathlynn
Conroy gave the visitors the lead but goals from Erin Godden and Jessica Cloney
gave the home side all three points

Bunclody AFC 0
Both these sides
produced no goals but plenty of excitement as both worked hard to break down
the oppositions defence. However it was the defenders who dominated on the day
and both sides had to be content with a point after a very entertaining
encounter

Ross Celtic 1
These two near
neighbours played out an exciting draw on Tuesday evening with Abbie Gaffney on
target for Cushinstown while Sinead Jones scored for New Ross Celtic

Celtic played
their final game of the season and picked up their first win when overcoming
Corach Ramblers 4-0. Sinead Jones scored twice with Aaliyah Animashun and Aoibhe
Murphy also scoring for the home side

Cushinstown AFC 2
Cushinstown moved
second in the table after they made the long journey to Aughrim and came away
with all three points. Sarah Doyle scored for Rangers with Abbie Gaffney and
Sjoke Finn on target for the visitors
Rosslare Strand 4
Bree United 1
Strand wrapped up
the Division Two B title when they overcame closest challengers Bree United in
a game that was much closer than the scoreline suggests. A Lucia Donohoe hat
trick and a goal from Kayleigh Aylward had Strand in control and league
committee member Aine Murphy presented the new champions with their trophy
after the match

All Blacks
travelled to Gorey Rangers on Thursday evening and secured the win they needed
to wrap up the league title when overcoming the home side with seven goals to
spare. Aoibheann Rankin scored four with Ciara Murphy adding two and Cora
Sinnott also found the net. League committee member Sarah Merrigan presented
the winning team with their league trophy

Forth Celtic
travelled to Ballindaggin on Thursday evening and recorded their sixth win of
the season courtesy of a 4-0 win.

Rovers are third
in the table after they comfortably overcame Ballindaggin young second team
with eight goals to spare. Olivia Morris and Chloe Johnson scored a hat trick
each with Rachel Jackman adding two goals.

These two young
sides played out a scoreless draw with both going close to breaking the
deadlock but both keepers were in good form with both sides also hitting the
post. However, no goals saw both settle for a point each

it ten wins from ten games and are now very close to securing their first
league title as they move nine points clear of second place. Abigail Whitney,
Ciara Connolly and Emma Kennan all scored a goal each with Willow Jordan
scoring twice

Adamstown made it
seven wins from seven games as they overcame Bree United 4-2 to keep the
pressure on league leaders Aughrim Rangers. Chloe Doyle and Chloe O Toole
scored a goal each for the winners while Cora Banville scored twice

Bunclody AFC 0
The home side kept
their title ambitions alive as they overcame Bunclody with two second half
goals in this evenly contested encounter. Cloughbawn enjoyed the better chances
of the first half but even though Bunclody were much better in the second half,
it was the home side who took all three point with two well taken goals by

The battle for the
Under Sixteen Division Two A title will go right down to the end after New Ross
Town travelled to Gorey and came away with a win that keeps them two points
clear at the top of the table. Eadaoin Kent scored the only goal of a very
close game where the home side worked hard for the eighty minutes

Forth Celtic kept
their title hopes alive when they travelled to Seaview on Tuesday evening and
came away comfortable winners to keep in touch with leaders New Ross Town.
Sarah Siggins scored four while Niamh Tormey and Hollie Sinnott added two each
with Nadine Cunningham, Chelsey Pitman, Michelle Carty and Emma Clarke all
adding one each

completed their title winning season on Thursday evening with a 3-0 win over a
young Moyne side. Ava O Donohoe, Ashling O Sullivan and Ruth Hendrick were all
on target for the divisional champions who remained unbeaten in the league all
season

North End United
completed the league and cup double and are still in the hunt for a treble
after they overcame a determined Kilmore side who were much closer to the
winners than the scoreline would suggest. Both sides started well but it was the
Wexford town side who took an early lead through Martina Pender and doubled it
before the break when Natasha Walsh was on target. Kilmore were more dominant
in the early stages of the second half but could not break down a strong North
End defence and when Natasha Walsh scored her second fifteen minutes after the
restart, the game was effectively over. Kim Walker scored a goal late in the
game to round off a 4-0 scoreline although Kilmore will be disappointed by the
margin at the end. North End were presented with the Michelle Coleman Cup by
league vice chairman Barry Dempsey while their player Sara Byrne collected the
player of the match award. Kilmore now have the unenviable record of having lost
this final for the past three seasons

Carpets Cup Final

Cloughbawn
completed an impressive treble of league, cup and shield when they overcame St
Joseph’s 2-1 in a very competitive and entertaining Boland Carpets Cup final in
All Blacks. St Joseph’s got the ideal start when they took the lead through
Tracey McCormack but the lead was short-lived as Cloughbawn were quickly back
on level terms when a Gina Foley corner found its way into the corner of the
net. The second half saw both sides go in search of a winner and although St
Joseph’s were enjoying a lot of possession but could not break down a resilient
Cloughbawn defence. Midway through the half, the Clonroche side went ahead when
Gina Foley was sharpest to a through ball and slotted past the keeper for what
proved to be the winning goal. St Joseph’s did come in search of an equaliser
but were unable to find a way through and Cloughbawn held on to round off an
incredible season for the club. Louise Hammel who had worked tirelessly
throughout the game in the Joeys defence picked up the player of the match
award

Cup Semi Finals
St Cormacs 1
Cushinstown AFC 0
Holders St Cormac’s
booked their place in this season’s Gaynor Cup final when they overcame
Cushinstown in a tight battle with only a solitary goal separating the sides at
the end. That goal was scored by Lorraine Fortune and it was enough to put the
Boolavogue girls through to the final where they will be going for a three in a
row in this competition

Ajax are through
to their first final when they overcame Bridge Rovers 2-0 to book a cup final
meeting with St Cormacs on April 23rd. Siobhan Grant Moorehead was
the difference between the sides as she scored both goals for the home side in
what was otherwise a very evenly contested game

Camolin collected
all three points which earns them a play off for runners up spot when New Ross
Town were unable to field for this league match

Shelburne FC 1
Two goals from
Hollie Hynes gave Wexford Bohs all three points when they overcame Shelburne
2-1 on Saturday evening. Shauna Cowman scored for the visitors in a game where
both sides produced some excellent passing football

Tombrack United 2
Fastnet Rovers 0
First against second
saw title winners Tombrack round off the season unbeaten with a 2-0 win against
a very hard working Fastnet side. Mary Boland gave Tombrack the lead after
seventeen minutes but it was two minutes from the end of the game before Leanne
Kenny scored to make it 2-0
