Wexford Youths Green side made the journey to Ballindaggn on Saturday morning and will travel to Adamstown in the first round proper after this 8-0 win against a very young home side. Goals from Zoe Kelly (2), Cliona Kearney (2), Rachel Meaney (3) and one from Sarah Leahy saw Youths through

This game was worthy of being the final as these two sides played out a five goal thriller that was filled with drama down to the dying seconds. Ballindaggin controlled the earlier parts of the game and went 3-0 ahead thanks to two goals from Anna Roban and Niamh Doyle but North End battled back with two goals from Katie Law and when they were awarded an injury time penalty, the game looked to be heading for extra time. However, the well taken penalty just grazed the post and went wide and Ballindaggin left Hollygrove a very relieved side

The league would like to wish all its members, supporters and referees a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Games will be back on Saturday January 7^th with a round of Under Ten, Fourteen and Eighteen games while the Women will be back in action the next day.
