Under Ten Premier Division

Courtown Hibs made the long journey to Campile on Saturday and completed their season on a high as they came away 1-0 winners with Sasha Green scoring the only goal of a very closely contested match. On Friday night, Bunclody hosted Ballindaggin and the home side picked up a point as they held the title challengers to a scoreless draw which results in Curracloe United needing just one point from their remaining two games to retain their league title

 

Under Ten North

Moyne Rangers travelled to Gorey Rangers and kept their unbeaten recored as they accounted for the home side on a 4-0 scoreline and ensured their place in the division one play offs. Erin Carley scored a hat trick with Amy Shannon also getting her name on the scoresheet

 

Under Ten South West

Corach Ramblers completed their league campaign and recorded their first win of the season as they overcame Adamstown 2-1 on Thursday night. Karlina Jaglarz scored for Adamstown but goals from Ciara Cummins and Rachel Gaynor saw Ramblers collect their first three points of the season

 

Noel Kehoe Pitch Development Under Twelve Cup Quarter Finals

Holders Curracloe United are through to the semi finals after they travelled to Shelburne on Saturday and recorded a 3-1 victory. Brid Madigan was on target for the home side but it was not enough against  strong visiting side who are having a poor league season but are showing a determination to retain their cup. The big match of the last eight saw the top two in the premier division clash when Ballindaggin hosted Campile United and after a very intense and hard fought battle, the home side progressed to the semi finals with Niamh McHugh scoring the only goal of the game. An impressive New Ross Town went into the draw for the last four when they overcame a determined effort from Tombrack United before Town eventually ran out 3-0 winners. Goals from Amy Lawlor (2) and Lauren Rossiter saw the home side through to their first semi finals at this age group. Cloughbawn looked impressive as they booked their place in the semis when overcoming a determined effort from division two B side Corach Ramblers. Niamh Miller scored for Ramblers but goals from Laura Butler and Chloe Merrigan saw Cloughbawn through to the last four

 

Under Twelve Premier Division

Cloughbawn completed their league campaign on Tuesday night when they travelled to Curracloe and picked up their third win of the season courtesy of a 4-0 win.

 

Under Twelve Division One

Courtown Hibs remain well in contention for the league title when they made the short journey to Gorey Celtic and came away 2-0 winners. Amy Robertson scored both goals for Hibs that gave them their fourth win of the season. St Leonards are still unbeaten and remain on top of the table after goals from Clodagh Foran and Aoife Cullen saw them beat Bunclody AFC 2-0. Seaview United and Wexford Celtic are both out of the hunt for honours but should also be safe from relegation after they played out a scoreless draw on Saturday morning

 

Under Twelve Division Two A

A 1-0 win over North End United ensures Wexford Youths of at least runners up medals in their debut season as a goal just before half time from Katie Whelan keeps them top of the table. Moyne Rangers and Bridge Rovers played out a 1-1 draw on Saturday with Megan O Connor on target for Rangers while Morgan Samboo scored for Rovers

 

Under Twelve Division Two B

Forth Celtic moved back up to third in the table when they travelled to Killenagh Wanderers and overcame a young home side 4-1 with Holly Moran on target for the home side.

 

Under Twelve Division Three

All Blacks remain top of the table after a 2-1 win over St Josephs second team. Two first half goals from Seren Ward had All Blacks in control with Pia Hickey on target for the visitors. New Ross Town B stay in the hunt for promotion after an Emma Rossiter goal saw them come away from St Leonards B 1-0 winners. Shelburne B and Camolin Celtic played out a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening to keep them both in the hunt for second place. Katie Murphy was on target for the Ballywilliam side while Aine Byrne scored for Celtic

 

Under Fourteen Premier Division

Cloughbawn moved three points clear at the top of the table when they travelled to Ballindaggin on Wednesday evening and came away 6-0 winners. Hannah Keating (2) and Emma Clarke (4) ensured the three points that keep Cloughbawn on target for at least a play off for the premier title.

 

Ger Dunne Under Sixteen Cup Quarter Finals

Holder Killenagh Wanderers booked their place in this seasons semi finals of the Ger Dunne Cup when travelling to St Leonards and coming away 4-0 winners. The young home side made Killenagh battle for their place in the last four but the firepower of the experienced visitors saw them through with Cailin Fitzpatrick, Megan Cahill (2) and Sinead Gaynor all on target. Cloughbawn and New Ross Town played out a five goal thriller before Town eventually progressed to the semi finals on a 3-2 scoreline. Jackie Carr and Emma Clarke were on target for Cloughbawn but goals from Janine Doyle, Grainne Ryan and Sinead Ryan saw Town into the last four. Ballindaggin and Curracloe United played out a close tense encounter before Curracloe eventually made it through 1-0 with Rhianna Cullen scoring the only goal of a hard fought cup encounter. Bree United are also through to the semi finals when proving too strong for Gorey Rangers and goals from Aideen Byrne, Niamh Sinnott and Louise Butler saw them progress 3-0.

 

Under Sixteen Division One

Camolin Celtic travelled to St Josephs and remain well clear of the relegation zone after coming away 5-2 winners. Anne Byrne (3), Aoife Curran and Nicole Curran were all on target for Celtic who picked up their third win of the season.

 

Under Sixteen Division Two

Gorey Rangers made the short journey to Arklow Town on Wednesday night and came away 6-1 winners with Ciara Hammett (4), Amy Wilson and Dearbha Yeats all on target. Bridge Rovers moved second in the table when they travelled to Campile on Thursday evening and came away 2-1 winners with Tara Smith and Chloe Mythen on target for Rovers. On Saturday Rovers were in action again and a scoreless draw at home to leaders All Blacks see them both remain well in contention for honours.

 

Under Eighteen Cup Semi Final

Curracloe United will contest the final of the under eighteen cup after they overcame Killenagh Wanderers 2-0 on Monday evening. Roisin Doolan and Siobhan Doolan were both on target for the home side in a very exciting tussle between two very well matched sides. Curracloe will now play Seaview in the final on a date to be announced

 

MMI.ie Wexford Womens Cup Semi Finals

Benfica            0          Ferns United    2

Holders Ferns are through to the final of the MMI.ie Wexford Cup after they eventually broke down a stubborn Benfica side. Ferns did enjoy most of the possession but Benfica stood up to the challenge and defended strongly and always looked dabgerous on the breal. However as the game progressed, Ferns began to exert heavy pressure on the Waterford side and goals in the final quarter of the game from Liz Everedd and Clara Donnelly saw them through to the final.

 

Adamstown     2          Seaview United           0

The main difference between these two sides was the ability to take their chances and it was clinical finishing in front of goal that eventually saw Adamstown through to the final. Both sides enjoyed equal possession and both had chances with Seaview bringing two good saves from Adamstown keeper Leanne Murphy early in the game. Both sets of defences dominated but it was eventually Adamstown who got on top and goals from sisters Edwina and Aisling Whelan saw them through to the final

 

Womens Premier Division

Tramore FC     2          North End United        2

The battle for second spot is heating up in the top division and these two sides are still deadlocked after this 2-2 draw on Sunday morning. Vanessa Ogbonna and Niamh Power were on target for the home side while Nellie Walsh and Shauna Gleeson scored for North End.

 

Michelle Coleman Cup Semi Finals

Killenagh Wanderers  5          Kilmore United            0

The top two teams in the division met in this semi final but it was the current cup holders Killenagh who proved too strong on the day and progressed comfortably to the final. Two goals each from Theresa Redmond and Roisin O Connor and one from Leanne Naughter saw the home side through

 

Glen Celtic      1          New Ross Town           2

New Ross Town continued a good weekend for the female section of the club when they overcame Glen Celtic to book their place in the final. Celtic were much better in this game than their league tie a few weeks earlier but were still unable to do enough to make it to the final. Marie Parker scored for Celtic but two Sinead Ryan goals put Town through to the final

 

Michelle Coleman Shield Semi Finals

St Josephs        3          Cloughbawn B             0

A Sophie Donnelly hat trick saw St Josephs through to the Shield final against an understrength Cloughbawn second team

 

Corach Ramblers        3          Courtown Hibs 1

Ramblers will meet St Josephs in the Shield final when they overcame Courtown Hibs 3-1

 

Boland Carpets Cup Semi Finals

Castledockrell United 4          Camolin Celtic 0

This game was much closer than the scoreline suggests as divisional winners Castledockrell booked their place in the final thanks to this 4-0 win over a battling Camolin side who refused to lie down. Some good defending from the home side kept them in the game and goals from Ellen Kelly (3) and Caitriona Murray saw them go through to the final where they will meet the winners of Shilelagh United or Tombrack United

 

Boland Carpet Shield Semi Finals

Taghmon United         6          Rosslare Rangers        2

Taghmon will meet Bunclody in the Shield final after they proved too strong for Rosslare Rangers and progressed 6-2. Kiera Finney scored both Rangers goals but strikes from Lisa Marie Doyle (2), Gemma Doran, Ailish Sinnott, Kasey Maher and Trish Doran saw the home side through

 

Nolan Health and Fitness Cup Semi Final

Rosslare Strand           6          Cushinstown AFC         0

The home side booked their place in the final and await the winners of St Leonards or Bree in the final after they proved too strong for Cushinstown. Emma Kehoe scored a hat trick to add to goals from Sarah Walsh, Decoda Goin and Shannon O Brien
