Under Ten
Cup Second Round
The line up for the quarter finals of the Under Ten cup are
now known after a full set of fixtures went ahead over the weekend. St Leonards
and Corach Ramblers played out a thrilling cup tie on Friday evening which
produced no goals but created loads of excitement before Ramblers eventually
progressed after the penalty shoot out went to sudden death. A Katie Carroll
hat trick saw Bridge Rovers overcome Campile United 3-2 with Mai Dempsey and
Sarah Foley were on target for Campile. The top two teams in the North division
met in the last sixteen with the league leaders Moyne Rangers proving too
strong for Tombrack United and progressing 5-0 thanks to goals from Erin Carley
(2) Amy Shannon (2) and Chloe Browne. Cloughbawn and Adamstown played out a
five goal thriller before Adamstown eventually progressed 3-2 thanks to goals
from Katrina Jaglarz, Elle Furlong and Ellen Duggan while Mary Kaylan scored
both goals for Cloughbawn. Taghmon made the long journey to Bunclody and came
away 2-1 winners with Jade Conroy on target for the home side while Cora
Banville and Chloe Doyle scored for the winners. Curracloe United made the
short journey to Wexford Celtic and proved too strong for the home side and
came away 7-0 winners. All Blacks were saved a journey to Killenagh Wanderers
when the home side conceded the game that morning due to lack of numbers
ensuring All Blacks took their place in the last eight. Probably the game of
the round was in Gorey Rangers where the home side raced into a 3-0 lead
against premier side Ballindaggin with Siun Murdiff (2) and Fina Lynch on
target. However Ballindaggin called on all their experience and an Anna Roban
hat trick and a goal each from Tamara Kelly and Niamh Doyle saw them progress
to the quarter finals 5-3.
Under Ten East Division
Rosslare Rangers took all three points from their visit to
Ferrycarrig Park when overcoming Wexford Youths 4-0. Goals from Bobbi Culleton,
Tegan Fortune and Zoey Butler had Rangers 3-0 up at half time and Zoey added
her second to ensure all three points for Rosslare
Under Ten South West

Ross Town and coming away 2-0 winners. Jamie Walsh and Ciaradh Connolly scored
the goals that moved Seaview a point clear at the top of the division.
Noel Kehoe Pitch Development Under Twelve Cup First Round
Two outstanding under twelve cup games were played over the
week and both produced two top class encounters. On Thursday, Wexford Youths
travelled to Moyne Rangers and in a very competitive game, Nadine Fortune
scored the only goal as Youths progressed to the last sixteen. Wexford Celtic
travelled to St Josephs on Saturday and also progressed on a 1-0 scoreline
thanks to a goal from Aisling O Sullivan.
Under Twelve Premier Division
Cloughbawn played two under twelve games over the week with
varying results. A young Kilmore side travelled to Cloughbawn on Friday and
came away 3-1 winners courtesy of a Sophie Boxwell hat trick with Laura Butler
on target for the home side. On Saturday, Cloughbawn travelled to Campile
United and caused an upset when overcoming the title challengers 1-0 with Niamh
Rooney scoring the all important goal.

net. Moyne Rangers also went through comfortably as they travelled to All
Blacks and came away 7-1 winners with Aoife Devereux (4), Anais Curran (2) and
Sinead Morrissey all on target for Moyne while Emily Coakley scored for the
home side. Bunclody raced into a 4-0 lead in their match away to recently
crowned Division Two B champions New Ross Town thanks to goals from Britney
Conroy, Caitlin Murphy (2) and Chloe Moynihan. However Town produced a spirited
comeback in the second half and an Amy Walsh hat trick saw them come to within
a goal of the visitors and it took a late save from the Bunclody keeper to
ensure their place in the last eight.
Under Fourteen Division Two B
Gorey Celtic wrapped up second place in the table when they
travelled to Tombrack and a strong second half performance saw them come away a
4-0 winners. After a scoreless first half, goals from Natasia Behan (3) and
Amber Donohoe saw Celtic take the vital three points

the home team too strong and Celtic ran out 6-0 winners with Aoife Kelly (4),
Kate Redmond Browne and Cora O Connell all on target. Eva Boland scored for
Campile in their rearranged first round game at home to Curracloe United but
the visitors were always in control and goals from Natasha Byrne (2), Lauren
Fitzgerald (3), Fiona Kinsella, Rianna Cullen, Dearbhla Doyle and Lauren Sludds
saw them run out 9-1 winners
Under Sixteen Premier Division

when proving too strong for Ballindaggin on Wednesday and running out 7-1
winners. Caoimhe Denton was on target for the viitors but Megan Cahill (4),
Ebah Dowdall, Catherine McDonald and Kate Coffey all scored for Killenagh.
Under Sixteen Division One

three matches in a row, picking up a win, a loss and a draw. On Wednesday they
travelled to Bree and after a five goal thriller, they came away 3-2 winners
with Moya Neery and Niamh Sinnott on target for Bree while goals from Abbie
Kennedy, Hannah Keating and Shauna Wall gave Cloughbawn all three points. An
Ava Slye goal early in the game saw Bunclody win 1-0 in Cloughbawn on Thursday
and the Clonroche girls rounded off their busy week with a 4-4 draw at home to
New Ross Town on Friday. Bree and Camolin played on Saturday and Bree ran out
3-2 winners thanks to goals from Moya Neary, Louise Butler and Niamh Sinnott
