Curracloe and Gorey Rangers win Under Eighteen Cup and Shield

Under Ten Division Two A
Moyne Rangers           0          Cloughbawn AFC         0
Played on Thursday night, these two young sides played out a scoreless but entertaining draw with defences dominating in what was an overall enjoyable encounter

Under Twelve Division Three
St Cormacs      4          Cushinstown AFC        0
The Boolavogue girls are still in pole position for runners up spot after they proved too strong for Cushinstown and collected all three points after this 4-0 win

Rosslare Rangers        1          Forth Celtic     0
The home side recorded their twelfth win of the season and wrapped up the Division Three title when they overcame Forth Celtic 1-0 in a very entertaining and evenly contested encounter. Tegan Fortune scored the only goal of the match to give her side the points they needed to secure the league title.

Under Twelve Division Four
Aughrim Rangers        5          Fastnet Rovers            0
Aughrim Rangers wrapped up the Division Four title with this comfortable 5-0 win at home to a battling Fastnet side. Zoe O Connor and Ciara Connolly scored a goal each with Abigail Whitney scoring a hat trick as Rangers secured a historic three points to give the club their first league trophy in the league. Referee Emmanual Kavanagh was on hand to present the winning side with their league trophy

Under Fourteen Division Two A
Corach Ramblers        0          Gorey Rangers            1
Gorey Rangers travelled the long distance to Corach last Monday and came away with all three points in a game where both sides created several chances but it was Rangers who took the three points with a 1-0 win

Seaview United           7          Tombrack United        0
The home side completed their season with a comfortable 7-0 win over Tombrack and now must wait for North End to complete their season to see if a play-off will be required to decide the title. Ava White Keating scored two, Ciaradh Connolly scored a hat trick with Chloe Drought and Ruby Murphy adding a goal each

Under Sixteen Premier One
Cloughbawn AFC         1          St Leonards     0
Cloughbawn overcame St Leonards with a solitary goal scored by Niamh McHugh to keep alive their chances of securing runners up spot

Under Eighteen Seven a Side
Gorey Rangers            1          Wexford Celtic            1
Both these Under Eighteen sides completed their league season with a 1-1 draw. Hannah Quinn was on target for Rangers while Chloe Quinn scored the goal for Celtic

Under Eighteen Cup Final
Curracloe United         3          Bunclody AFC              0
This game was much closer than the scoreline suggests but Curracloe were the better side on the day as they lifted the Under Eighteen Cup for the third time in a row in St Josephs on Saturday morning. Curracloe took the lead on twenty minutes when Leah Furlong found the net and early in the second half Fiona Kinsella made it 2-0. The game was put beyond any doubt when Fiona Bennett made it 3-0 and League Chairman Daire Doyle was on hand to present the cup to the winning side and player of the match award to Curracloe’s Fiona Kinsella

Under Eighteen Seven a Side Shield Final
Gorey Rangers            1          Bree United                 0

Gorey Rangers became the first winners of the Under Eighteen Shield when they overcame Bree United in a closely contested final in St Josephs. Both sides produced some excellent passing football and both created chances but found the opposing defences difficult to break down. Player of the match Abbie Molloy broke the deadlock in the second half to give Rangers victory and League committee member Mick Bennett presented the victorious side with their Shield
