Wexford and District Women’s and Schoolgirls League 12-11-2016

Under Twelve Premier Division
Seaview United         0          Ballindaggin               11
Ballindaggin are keeping the pressure on league leaders Courtown Hibs and showed no mercy when they travelled to a young Seaview side and knocked in eleven without reply. Niamh Doyle (5), Anna Roban (4) and Cerys Fortune (2) were all on target for the dominant visitors

Kilmore United          0          Courtown Hibs          4
Title holders Courtown Hibs travelled to Kilmore and remained top of the table after a 4-0 win. The home side could have taken a shock lead when Hallie Doyle hit the crossbar early on but Hibs took control of the game and goals from Sasha Greene (2), Sophie Moran and Grace Davis gave them all three points

Under Twelve Division One
All Blacks        4          Gorey Rangers          1
The home side remain top of the table after they made it four wins from four games after this win over Gorey Rangers. Yasmine Allen was on target for Rangers but goals from Sophie Wallace, Aoibheann Rankin, Keira Casey and Tara Cullen gave All Blacks the win

North End United     0          Curracloe United       4
Curracloe moved second in the table after they proved too strong for North End and recorded their third win of the season with this 4-0 win. Emma Cullen scored a hat trick with Rebecca Fanning also getting on the scoresheet.

Under Twelve Division Two A
Corach Ramblers      0          Bree United                3
Bree picked up their second win of the season away to Corach Ramblers as they came away 3-0 winners after a very entertaining game. Amy Doyle, Grace Donohoe and Aoibhe Deegan were all on target for the winners

Bunclody AFC            1          New Ross Celtic        2
These two sides are now deadlocked at the top of the table after Celtic came away from Bunclody with all three points after this closely contested encounter. Rebecca O Connor was on target for the home side but goals from Keelin Jensen and Aoife Cowman gave Celtic a very important three points

Under Twelve Division Two B
Tombrack United      5          Rosslare Strand         4
These two young sides produced a nine goal thriller before Tombrack eventually came out on top by the odd goal. Aisling Roche (3) and Ellen Murphy were on target for Strand but prolific goalscorer Ana Dragusin (4) and Leanne Walsh scored to give Tombrack the three points

St Josephs      1          Wexford Youths Green        1
St Josephs kept in touch with the leaders despite dropping points at home to a hard working Wexford Youths side. Sarah Walsh scored for Joeys while Allanah Lambert was on target for Youths

New Ross Town        7          Taghmon United       2
Ross Town are now five points clear at the top of the table after this comprehensive 7-2 win over third placed Taghmon United. Five goals from Aoibh Thomas and two from Ella Nolan had the winners well in control

Under Twelve Division Three
Gorey Rangers Seconds       0          Rosslare Rangers      10
Rosslare Rangers made it five wins from five and moved six points clear at the top of Division Three after this comprehensive win over a young Gorey Rangers side. Grace Noonan (3), Abigail Clarke (3), Tegan Fortune (2), Bobbie Culleton and Ciara Pierce were all on target for a dominant home side

Ballindaggin Seconds           0          Cushinstown AFC      2
Cushinstown picked up their first win of the season when they travelled to Ballindaggin second team and came away 2-0 winners. Ella Rossiter and Kyra Nolan were both on target for Cushinstown

Forth Celtic Green    0          Bridge Rovers            0
A scoreless draw was played out between these two young sides and although no one managed to find the net, both sides created several chances and in the end a draw was a fair result. This point moves Bridge Rovers up to third place in the table

Campile United         1          St Cormacs    3
St Cormacs moved to second in the table after they made the long journey to Campile a fruitful one and came home with the three points. Eva Fuhrmann was on target for the home side while Emerson Doran (2) and Bronagh Kenny scored for the visitors

Under Twelve Division Four
Carnew FC     1          Fastnet Rovers          1
These two sides produced an excellent entertaining match but had to settle for a point each after this 1-1 draw. Katie Wafer scored the goal for Carnew while Anna Benson was on target for Rovers

Shelburne FC             2          New Ross Town Seconds     0
Shelburne picked up their second win of the season when they overcame New Ross Town second team 2-0. Two goals from Caitlin Gaffney gave the home side victory and all three points

Forth Celtic White     1          Wexford Youths Blue           3         
Wexford Youths made it five wins from five and sit joint top of the table after this 3-1 win away to Forth Celtic White. Sinead Cullen was on target for Celtic while Sophie Kuba scored a hat trick for Youths

Bridge Rovers            1          Aughrim Rangers      5
Aughrim are enjoying their first season in the league as they travelled to Bridge Rovers and remain joint top of the table after this 5-1 win. Olivia Morris scored for Rovers while Grace Connolly, Willow Jordan, Sophie McCarthy, Aoife Campbell and Abigail Whitney all scored for the visitors

Under Sixteen Premier One
Tombrack United      3          Bunclody AFC            2
Premier leaders Tombrack made it three wins from three games after they overcame Bunclody by the odd goal in five in a very hard fought encounter. Bunclody scored first and last through Zoe Kearney but goals in between from Becky Connaughton (2) and Shauna McGovern gave the home side a very important win

St Leonards    3          Courtown Hibs          1
Eimear Gabbett is having a fantastic season in front of goal as she has scored for the Sixteens, Eighteens and Women this season and kept up that record with two goals in this 3-1 win over Courtown Hibs. The other goal came from an own goal while Jean Kavanagh was the goal scorer for Hibs

Cloughbawn AFC      8          Shelburne FC             0
Cloughbawn made it two wins from two games when they proved too strong for near neighbours Shelburne, running out 8-0 winners. Four goals from Sarah Siggins, two from Niamh McHugh and one each from Aoife Codd and Laura Butler gave the current Premier title holders all three points

Under Sixteen Division Two A
New Ross Town        5          Gorey Rangers          0
The home side made it three wins from three games and sit top of the table after this 5-0 win at home to Gorey Rangers. Amy Lawlor, Jenny Canning, Zoe Rossiter and two from Jenny O Keefe made up New Ross Town’s tally

Forth Celtic    5          Seaview United         1
Forth moved up to second after they hosted Seaview and ran out 5-1 winners. Ciara Corish was on target for the visitors but two goals each from Nadine Cunningham and Michelle Carthy and one from Lauren McLaughlin gave Celtic the win

Under Sixteen Division Two B
Carnew FC     1          Wexford Celtic           6
Wexford Celtic are still unbeaten and in touch with the league leaders after this 6-1 win away to a hard working Carnew side. Kaley Kavanagh scored for the home side but goals from Rachel Zsurs, Aliat Katun (2), Holly Rossiter, Aisling O Sullivan and Anna Donoghue gave Celtic their second win of the season

St Josephs      2          Arklow Town             0
The home side remain in contention for honours after they overcame an improving Arklow Town side 2-0 to remain second in the table. Ciara Lyon and Ella Cullen were on target for St Josephs who were good value for their victory

Moyne Rangers         2          Camolin Celtic           11

Camolin have had a tough couple of years at this age group but they are making up for it this year as they top the division with four wins from four games. Shannon Peare and Shannon Redmond scored for Rangers but goals from Emma Carton (5), Grace Halloran (3) Megan Byrne, Megan Doyle and Aine Byrne gave a confident Camolin victory
