Under Twelve
Premier Division
Ballindaggin
moved joint top of the premier division after a 3-0 home win over Curracloe who
surprisingly find themselves at the bottom of the table after dominating this
age group for the past five seasons. Faye Larkin (2) and Niamh McHugh were on
target for the home side who now join Campile at the top of the table.
Under Twelve
Division One
Courtown
Hibs travelled to Bunclody and came away with all three points after a 2-0 win
with prolific goalscorer Ella Maree scoring both goals while St Leonards picked
up an easy three points when Gorey Celtic were unable to pull together a team
to travel to Ballycullane. Seaview Celtic travelled to Wexford Celtic and a 1-0
win saw them move into third, three points behind the leaders with Jennifer
Dunne scoring the goal
Under Twelve
Division Two A
New Ross
Town recorded their fourth win of the season when overcoming Bridge Rovers 2-0
and are currently joint top of the table with Lauren Rossiter and Jade Walsh on
target for Town. Wexford Youths came away from Moyne Rangers with the three
points after a dramatic late goal by Sophie Codd gave them a 2-1 win. Moyne had
taken the lead through Zoe Kearney but Aoibha Lewis levelled for Youths before
Sophie’s last gasp winner moved Youths joint top of the table. Shelburne picked
up their first three points of the season after an entertaining 2-1 win over
North End United. Latysha Cullen scored for North End but goals from Ellen
Ronan and Brid Madigan gave the home side victory
Under Twelve
Division Two B
Corach
Ramblers and St Josephs remain deadlocked at the top of the table after they
recorded wins over Tombrack United and Forth Celtic respectively. Ashling
Waters (2) and Maxine Byrne were on target for Corach as they overcame Tombrack
3-0 while Amy Mitten and Ella Cullen scored for St Josephs as they beat Forth
2-0. Adamstown picked up their first wn of the season as they overcame
Killenagh Wanderers 4-0 with Karlina Jaglarz and Meabh Wickham scoring two each
Under Twelve
Division Three
Camolin
Celtic remain top of the table despite travelling to Kilmuckridge and losing
3-2 to the home side. Aine Byrne and Emma Carton were on target for Celtic but
an Edel Keogh hat trick picked up the points for the home side. Rosslare
Rangers overcame All Blacks 3-2 to go into second place in a game that will be
remembered for not one free being awarded in the 40 minutes, a credit to the
referee, both teams and their mentors. Aoife Haughton and Sarah Hendrick were
on target for All Blacks while Zoe Butler (2) and Abbie Sinnott were on target
for Rangers. New Ross Town B and Shelburne B played out a 3-3 draw with
Dearbhla Bailey scoring a hat trick for Town second team
Under
Sixteen Premier Division
Curracloe
move top of the table after overcoming Killenagh in the big game in the premier
division as they came away with a 2-0 win with Siobhan Doolan and Rianna Cullen
scoring the vital goals. St Leonards recorded their first win of the season
when overcoming Ballindaggin 3-1 on Sunday morning with Ciara Ryan Caoimhe
Power and Alex Golden all on target for the Saints while Niamh Atkinson scored
for Ballindaggin
Under
Sixteen Division One
Bunclody
travelled to Moyne and move six points clear at the top of the table after a
comfortable 4-1 win. Aoife Devereux was on target for the home side but goals
from Emma Tobin (2), Ava Slye and Britney Conroy gave Bunclody their fourth win
of the season. Bree and New Ross Town played a 3-3 draw to remain in joint
second place with Louise Butler and Abbie Kennedy (2) on target for Bree while
Sandra Murphy and Sinead Ryan (2) were on target for Town. Seaview collected
their first three points of the season after a 3-0 win away to St Josephs with
goals from Danielle Odham (2) and Mairead O Shea.
Under
Sixteen Division Two
Plaudits in
this division must go to Gorey Rangers and Wexford Celtic who played out an
incredible 7-7 draw, probably one of the highest scoring draws in the history
of the league. Ciara Hammett and Amy Wilson scored two each for Rangers with
Alison McPArtland, Mica Connolly and Eabha Cahill also on target while Aoife
Kelly (4) and Rebecca Ennis (3) scoring for Celtic. All Blacks join Bridge
Rovers at the top of the table after a 2-0 win away to Tombrack with Abbie
Jones and Caoimhe McKeon scoring the goals. Killenagh Wanderers second team and
Arklow Town played out a close encounter before Wanderers eventually took all
three points courtesy of a Cailin Fitzpatrick goal
Leinster
Under Sixteen Cup First Round
Two Wexford
teams were in action in Offaly in the first round of the provincial cup but
both bowed out despite putting in spirited performances. Cloughbawn lost 3-0 to
Tullamore Town but were well in the game as they trailed just 1-0 at half time
but an early second half goal and another in injury time saw Tullamore through.
Campile United were away to Edenderry Town and after a fast paced entertaining
match, Edenderry progressed 3-1 with Eva Boland on target for Campile
Womens
Premier Division
Benfica 2 North
End United 3
North End
travelled to Waterford and after a very competitive encounter came away with
the three points that moves them into third place while Benfica are finding
themselves been hauled into a relegation battle. Brianne O Connor scored both
goals for the home side while Alysha Cullen (2) and Martina Pender were on
target for the Wexford town side.
Seaview
United 3 Tramore FC 2
The home
side recorded their second win in a row and took a major scalp when beating
second placed Tramore by the odd goal in five. Seaview led 2-1 at half time and
although Tramore got back on level terms, the home side scored in injury time
to grab a very important three points. Niamh Walsh and Vanessa Ogbonna were on
target for the visitors while Eimear Mullan, Kellie Mullan and Sarah O Brien
all scored for Seaview
Adamstown 5 Coolgreaney
Celtic 1
This game
was much closer than the scoreline suggests but was still a very important
victory for the home side who are pulling away from the bottom three. Sarah
Merrigan scored for Coolgreaney but goals from Ann Marie Dunphy (2), Nikki
Dunphy (2) and Leanne Murphy gave Adamstown victory. Ann Marie Dunphy was
making her first experience back in Wexford soccer after being away on her
world travels for a year

Division One
New Ross
Town 1 Kilmore United 2
Kilmore
moved back to within three points of the leaders after this 2-1 win away to New
Ross Town, a team who are also with three points of the top. Lina Smitate
scored for Town but goals from Lisa Goff and Chloe Troy gave the visitors
victory
Glen Celtic 3 Corach
Ramblers 0
Celtic have
moved up to midtable when eventually overcoming a stubborn Corach Ramblers side
in a very competitive encounter. After a scoreless first half, Lorraine O
Connor scored a hat trick to give Glen all three points

Division Two A
Shilelagh
United 7 Tombrack United 0
The home
side recorded a comfortable 7-0 victory over an understrength Tombrack side and
move away from the bottom two. Fiona Byrne (2), Niamh Dillon (2), Noreen
Lambert, Catherine Corbett and Erika Dagge all scored for Shilelagh
Rosslare
Rangers 0 Camolin Celtic 5
Camolin move
up to third in the league after a 5-0 win over bottom club Rosslare Rangers.
Megan Murray scored a hat trick for the visitors with Niamh O Leary adding the
other two goals
Taghmon
United 2 Forth Celtic 1
Taghmon move
second in the table after this 2-1 win over Forth Celtic after a very close
fought encounter. Lisa Marie Doyle put the home side in front but Chloe Fox
levelled for Celtic before Lisa Marie scored her second goal with ten minutes
remaining to give Taghmon victory

Division Two B
Moyne
Rangers 0 Bree United 4
Bree
collected their seventh win of the season when travelling to Moyne and coming
away 4-0 winners. Mary Gorman scored a hat trick while Lauren Sinnott also
found the net to move Bree five points clear at the top of the table
