Under Twelve
Premier Division
Pre season
favourites Campile got off to a great start when travelling to Kilmore and
coming away five one winners despite going behind to a Fiona Kielthy goal.
However, goals from Aideen Kent, Katherine Dempsey, Kate Foley and two from
Lydia McGrath gave Campile the perfect start to the season. Cloughbawn recorded
a five nil win over Curracloe and also look to be serious title contenders as
Laura Butler and Niamh Rooney scored two each with Kate Kelly also finding the
net
Under Twelve
Division One
A young
Wexford Celtic side struggled away to St Leonards and were beaten six nil by
the impressive home side. Ella Cahill scored two with Lauren Roche, Eimear
Gabbett, Jessica Ryan and Clodagh Foran all added one each for the home side.
Bunclody travelled to Gorey Celtic and came away one nil winners in a very
closely contested encounter with Katie Bates scoring the all important goal
Under Twelve
Division Two A
Four goals
from Amy Shannon saw Moyne Rangers travel to North End and come away four nil
winners against a young home side who were unlucky on several occasions. Sophie
Codd has the honour of scoring the first ever goal for Wexford Youths
schoolgirls as she scored twice in a three one win over Bridge Rovers. Anita
Ngobo also scored for Youths while Leah Ennis was on target for Rovers in a
very fast paced and entertaining game. New Ross Town travelled to Shelburne and
came away two nil winners with Laura Rossiter scoring both goals
Under Twelve
Division Two B
Corach
Ramblers overcame a young Killenagh side eight nil while St Josephs beat
Adamstown five two. Aoife Murphy and Maeve Wickham were on target for Adamstown
while Amy Mitten, Eleanor Hamell, Ella Cullen, Ciara Lyons and Tanya Kennedy
all scored for Joeys
Under Twelve
Division Three
Shelburne
second team and All Blacks played out a nine goal thriller before the young
Mayglass girls eventually came away five four winners. Katie Murphy scored a
hat trick for Shelburne with Gemma Martin also scoring while Emma Carr and
Sarah Cleary scored two each for All Blacks with Sarah Ward also finding the
net. Camolin Celtic made the long journey to St Leonards to play the home sides
second team and came away six one winners. Ivana Duffin scored for the Saints
but a hat trick each from Aine Byrne and Emma Carton gave Camolin victory. St
Josephs second team and Rosslare Rangers played out a two all draw with Edel
Kehoe and Rita Lawlor on target for St Josephs while Zoe Butler and Maeve Hayes
scored for Rangers
Under
Sixteen Premier Division
Curracloe
travelled to an understrength St Leonards side and ran out easy eleven one winners.
Lauren Fitzgerald scored five with Fiona Kinsella and Siobhan Doolan adding two
each while Rianna Cullen and Jessie Harding also finding the net. Aine McGarr
was on target for the home side. Cora Miller gave Kilmore an early lead against
Killenagh Wanderers but goals from Tara Doyle, Eva Dowdall, Aoife McCrea and
Megan Cahill gave last seasons premier champions all three points
Under
Sixteen Division One
Big winners
in this division were Bree and New Ross Town who each had eight goals to spare
over Moyne Rangers and St Josephs respectively. Louise Moya Neary scored a hat
trick for Bree in their eight nil win with Aideen Byrne and Niamh Sinnott added
two goals while Abbie Kennedy also scored. The Ryan sisters caused St Josephs
loads of problems as Grainne scored four and Sinead scored three in New Ross
towns nine one win with Janine Doyle and Sandra Murphy also finding the net.
Two goals from Katie Hendrick set Bunclody on the way to a three nil win in
Camolin with Britney Conroy also scoring while goals from Talia Murphy and
Megan West gave Cloughbawn a two nil win over Seaview United
Under
Sixteen Division Two
High scoring
thriller of the day went to Gorey Rangers v Tombrack where the visitors came
out ten six winners in the end. Tombrack led seven one at half time before
Rangers got into the game and hauled the game back to eight six before the
visitors once again took control to score two more. Denise Bolger scored seven
with Shannon McGovern adding two and Ashling O Rourke also scoring for Tombrack
while Amy Wilson scored four for Rangers to add to goals from Clara Hughes and
Niamh Territt. Bridge Rovers travelled to Wexford Celtic and won two one in a
very closely contested encounter with Rebecca Ennis scoring for Celtic while
Chloe Mythen and Sinead Rowan were on target for Rovers. Campile made the long
journey to Killenagh and came away four nil winners against the home side
second team thanks to goals from Chloe Banville and Kerry Doyle while Eva Boland
added two.
Womens Premier Division
Ferns United 8 Cloughbawn AFC 0
Ferns began the defence of their premier title in fine style
when they overcame Cloughbawn with eight goals to spare. Leona Breen scored a
hat trick with Mary O Neill, Josie Dwyer, Liz Everedd, Marian Brownrigg and
Rachel Collier all adding one each with the home side leading three nil at the
break
Coolgreany Celtic 3 Seaview United 2
The home side came out on top in this five goal thriller as
the lead exchanged hands three times before Coolgreaney eventually wrapped up
the three points. Karen Morris, Dolores Murphy and Sarah Merrigan all scored
for Celtic while Brid Doyle and Sarah O Brien both scored for the visitors
North End United 0 Tramore FC 4
Tramore started the season with a win away to a strong North
End side who were much closer than the scoreline suggests. Two goals from
Vanessa Ogbonna and one each from Niamh Walsh and Gemma Linehan saw the
Waterford side negotiate what could have been a very tricky away tie
Womens Division One
Killenagh Wanderers 3 Kilmore United 1
These two sides started the season as favourites for this
division but both have recorded mixed results so far. Killenagh took the spoils
in this game as goals from Leanne Naughter, Kim O Connor and an own goal gave
them victory while Lisa Goff was on target for Kilmore
Corach Ramblers 1 Cloughbawn AFC 0
In a very close match, Corach eventually did enough to take
all three points as they overcame a very stubborn Cloughbawn side who will feel
unlucky not to have grabbed at least a point. Sinead O Connor scored the vital
goal when she converted a penalty in the sixth minute to give the home side all
three points
Womens Division Two A
Bunclody AFC 4 Tombrack United 0
Pre season divisional favourites Bunclody, eventually broke
down a stubborn Tombrack side to open their season with three points. Leanne
Kearney gave the home side a half time lead and a goal from Louise Carton plus
two from Nicole Fortune gave them a comfortable four nil win
Camolin Celtic 2 Taghmon United 3
Taghmon travelled to Camolin for a late kick off and went
away with all three points after coming out on top of a five goal thriller.
Niamh O Leary scored both goals for the home side but two goals from Lisa Marie
Doyle and one from Sarah Banville gave Taghmon all three points
Castledockrell United 5 Shilelagh United 0
The home side continued last seasons form into this season
as they easily accounted for Shilelagh United on a five nil scoreline. Cait
Doyle scored twice to add to goals from Ellen Kelly, Caitriona Murray and Betsy
O Connor
Womens Division Two B
Fastnet Rovers 1 Bree United 2
Bree made it two wins from two as they overcame Fastnet two
one with Aideen Miskella scoring for the home side. However goals from Lauren
Sinnott and Flo Butler gave the visitors all three points and move to the top
of the table
Moyne Rangers 0 St Leonards 3
St Leonards opened their campaign in the womens league with
a win away to Moyne Rangers, running out three nil winners. Anne Marie Parker
scored one with Jo Rossiter adding two to give the visitors the ideal start
Crossabeg AFC 0 Cushinstown AFC 10
Cushinstown proved too strong for Crossabeg and ran riot
with goals from Amie Gaffney, four, Pamela Cummins, three, and one each from
Lauren Murphy, Mag Kehoe and Shelly Kent

087 1215136, also by 9-30pm. On Saturday and Sunday after your match, clubs are
to text results to Peter Doyle on 087 2697074. We would ask clubs to adhere to
these times and make sure get the information to the league as requested and
co-operation is greatly appreciated
