Under Ten League
After a very close exciting week, under ten division two came to an exciting climax with Moyne Rangers eventually clinching the title despite losing two one to St Leonards in Ballycullane. St Leonards themselves then hosted Ferns United two days later with an opportunity to force a play off with Moyne for the title but their opponents were chasing second place and clinched that positions by winning two one. Gorey Celtic collected their ninth win on the trot at home to Camolin Celtic and clinched the under ten division two B title.
Under Twelve League
Courtown Hibs clinched the under twelve division two B title after a scoreless draw at home to St Leonards on Saturday evening. This division had went all the way to the final game as these two sides finished well ahead of the other teams in the division and Hibs eventually wrapped it up by gaining the point they needed in a very entertaining competitive match
Under Fourteen League
Shelbourne wrapped up the under fourteen premier title during the week as they travelled to Bree and proved far too strong for the home side and ran out comfortable ten nil winners. It was their seventh win of the season and saw them clinch the title comfortably ahead of the chasing pack
Under Sixteen League
Forth Celtic clinched the under sixteen division two title after drawing nil nil with Rathnure on Saturday and giving them the point they needed to wrap the division. Their opponents look likely to finish second but Tombrack still have an opportunity to overtake them if they can win their two remaining games
Underage Cups Semi Finals
Bree United booked their place in the under twelve cup final after a three nil win over giant killers Rosslare Rangers. After a scoreless first half where both sides created chances to score, Bree had the better of the second half and goals from Sophie McCabe, Aoife Rochford and Kim Moran. Rangers put in a brave battle in this semi final and made the premier title challengers work to achieve their place in the final. Seaview United and Ferns United played out a thrilling under fourteen semi final which went to extra time before Seaview upset the odds and knocked the premier side out. Hayley Nolan put Ferns ahead but Leanne Foley levelled late in the second half sending the game to extra time. It was Seaview who enjoyed the better of that extra time and Fiona Rowe became the heroine for the home side when she scored the goal that put the Duncannon / Fethard combination into the final. Ger Dunne Under Sixteen Cup holders Curracloe United booked their place in this years final when travelling to Courtown Hibs and eventually progressing five one.
Womens Premier Division
Curracloe United and Benfica both continue to push for the premier title as they both recorded wins on Sunday. Benfica travelled to Ferns and came away three nil winners although the home side put up a much better performance than the scoreline suggests. Clare Conlon had them one nil up at half time and two goals from Keely Claydon ensured the three points. Rianna Jarrett scored four as Curracloe travelled to Killenagh and came away six nil winners with Emma Dempsey and Laura Corrigan scoring one each. Curracloe would also like to wish Katie Redmond a speedy recovery from an injury picked up a couple of weeks back against North End United in the Wexford Cup semi final
